We expected a quiet deck overlooking the water. Instead, there was a row of RVs right below our deck. There were people in the room right below us who also sat outside and talked but they were so close it felt awkward. Later that night it was really noisy. Room was clean but felt bare. Overall, a less than average experience.

Overall a real nice stay. It has the potential to be a "5". The room had a kitchenette with cupboards but no amenities like cups, plates, flatware or even a toaster. Also some sound proofing would help with the ability to hear the TV in the next room. We liked the spacious room and balcony overlooking the water and would definitely recommend this lodge.

We received a text message within 4 hours of arrival about our check out and it was inappropriate. The community offers many family friendly activities but they are not equipped in the summer months to manage the increased volume. In addition, they increase pricing. If pricing is increased, as a consumer who travels the world I expect increased and distinguished service.

The cabin was very comfortable. Nice beds and couch. Kitchen was well furnished with utilities and easy to use. Nicely positioned to have a great view of the water with the least obstruction from the RV parking spots.

All of the staff were very helpful and very nice. The room was in good condition with a nice close view of the puget sound just off your rooms back porch. Small hotel only a handful of rooms, handful of RV spots, and laid out in a nice fashion for all to have a view. Just be aware that the office closes at 8:00pm in case you need anything like towels, soap, etc., or you will have to wait until morning. They also have some cool t-shirts in the office for sale

The staff was wonderful; we had a funeral in local area and due to our room not ready ealier than check-in they allowed us to use the common room to change and get ready for the event - very nice area and beautiful view.

We had a wonderful stay and it was beautiful! The bed was very comfy; it was so nice to sit out on the porch; the shower and water pressure were amazing. The only thing I would suggest is grab bars for the bath/shower. I came with a bum knee and my husband had to help me step into and out of the shower. Other than that, I would recommend!!

We stayed for two nights to kyak Lake Cushman and hike at Staircase in the Olympic National Park. This was the perfect place to stay, it was close to that area and was comfortable to get a good night's sleep after long days. We had a view of the Hood Canal from our room where we watched some seals playing. I would definitely stay here again.

I was originally certified to Dive in 1980 in Hoodsport. Then again in 2012 received my Advanced Certification here as well with a different group. Love the town, love the people and Waterfront at Potlatch Hotel was great! Great view of the canal, clean and the people were very nice.

We had a wonderful time with our family. The beds were super comfortable. Would’ve liked a little table to place our suitcases. And a little loud from traffic noise in the morning. Everything else was wonderful and in working order. Great value.

We had a wonderful stay and it was beautiful! The bed was very comfy; it was so nice to sit out on the porch; the shower and water pressure were amazing.
