Westwinds Waterfront Resort

Absolutely loved our stay. Our room was perfect. Furniture and bed was comfortable. Nicely renovated! Outside space to hang out by the bay was awesome as well. Originally booked for 6 nights, but ended up extending our stay 2 more nights. Communication was fantastic!

Wonderful stay. Quiet, clean, we enjoyed every minute of it.

3 night stay with family. The condo is very spacious. It could have been a little cleaner. It is a short walk to the beach, Publix, restaurants and shops. The pool could have been cleaner. Overall it was a nice getaway. I would book it again.

Die Unterkunft war sehr geräumig, sauber und es gab einen Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Die Unterkunft hatte einen Wohn-, Ess- und Küchenbereich ein Schlafzimmer und ein Bad. Es scheint sich um eine Wohnanlage zu handeln, wo die einzelnen Wohnungen durch die Eigentümer vermietet werden. Alles ist sehr anonym. Irreführend war der Hinweis auf dem Gelände auf ein Büro (Office) - das gar nicht existiert. Ich dachte, dass man sich dort anmelden muss. Das ging aber nicht nur mir so, sondern auch anderen Reisenden. Da ich nichts gefunden hatte, habe ich den Vermieter kontaktiert. Dieser hat dann sehr schnell per SMS geholfen und die erforderlichen Angaben für den Zutritt zur Wohnung übermittelt. Man erhält dann einen Code für einen Schlüsselkasten, wo der Wohnungsschlüssel hinterlegt ist. Diese Angaben wurden aber auch nach der Buchung per Mail übersandt - was ich aber übersehen hatte. Das war mein Fehler. Ansonsten war alles wie beschrieben und es gibt nichts zu kritisieren.

The proximity to the beach and restaurants was great, as were the check in directions. The mattress and pillows left a lot to be desired. My son actually fell out of the bed on the second night because the mattress was so crooked. Some of the towels had brown stains on them. There was little to no places to hang towels in a two bedroom condo with 4 people staying there. I was overlapped disappointed at price I paid and the values I received.

Everything in this unit was new. Really enjoyed our stay.

This property was pretty out-dated on the outside but our room was great. There was ongoing construction on some of the rooms on the first floor, so that looks promising. The pool was fine but nothing fancy. The laundry area felt like a creepy basement on the “bathroom” in the laundry area near the pool was a toilet behind a curtain. Our room was great. We had a two bedroom and the kitchen had everything we needed to make food and eat in our room which was a great savings. It was a short walk to the Publix. The public beach is right across the street and there is a cabana/umbrella rental there which is very convenient. My children’s favorite thing to do every morning was look out the back window of our room to see if there were dolphins in the water. We saw dolphins many times, as well as stingrays and lots of cool birds.

Property was great. Perfect location to the beach.

Westwinds was beautiful and clean. The kids had a great time in the pool and when visiting the beach across the street. They also enjoyed the fishing docks right behind the pool that were easily accessible. We were able to walk to Publix and other stores. Great experience!

The condo was tidy and comfortable, and had all the amenities needed for our stay. Still some work to be done due to storms, but nothing really impacting us.

Nice location. Warm pool. Only thing we didn’t like was the couch wasn’t real comfortable.

The apartment was very nice. Beautiful view over the water. The pool was very nice. Laundry facilities were nice. The location was great. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach across the street. Loved it.

Booked and dis not receive direction as prints through expedia were unclear called messaged and showed up after a long day of travel with no follow up and charged - we did not stay horrible experience.

We stayed for 3 nights after travelling from the UK. The condo was on the 2nd floor with stair access. The place was very clean with a few provisions provided which was welcome. The beach is literally over the road, wonderful sand. Unfortunately at time of writing, (Jan 25) there is still an amount of hurricane damage which meant some restaurants etc were not open.

The hurricane/tornado damage obviously caused havoc in the whole area so a lot was closed and I expected that. The unit I stayed in was very nice and well maintained and felt very homey and comfortable. There was a lot of rehab going on. You can tell they take pride in the resort and are trying to get everything back to its former glory.
