Bed very comfortable And very cosy

Lovely, cosy little cottage, perfectly located for seeing our friends in Sigingstone. Lovely walks and only short drives to many attractions. Only downside was the bed which was too soft for us and very creaky! That being said, we would definitely consider coming back and will recommend Moorshead to friends and family. Thank you

We had a long weekend in Starling cottage. It was peaceful, quaint, comfortable and clean. It was a good base to explore the local area and visit our friends in Neath. I would definitely return.

Felt extremely relaxed and safe in this beautiful cottage. Was easy to access nearby villages and the train. Alyssa was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend it.

A lovely, cosy cottage close to villages and local attractions, great walking area too

Comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. Very good for dogs - there is a paddock where they can roam freely and the owners thoughtfully provide poo bags! We stayed four nights during the September heatwave and the cottage stayed nice and cool during the day. The shower was a bit underpowered, but there was plenty of hot water for baths, washing up, etc. The quaint local towns of Llantwit and Cowbridge are a short drive away, and offer plenty to do and see. The farm shop at Cowbridge is great, with a cafe and play equipment for kids. Beach at Llantwit is disappointing if you are after sand - all big rocks and limestone pavement

Comfy cottage with everything we needed, suits us very well for a short stay with our dogs. There is a really good paddock for exercising the dogs, and lots of local walks nearby.

Lovely quiet rural setting

The cottage was very comfortable for two of us and 2 small dogs.The bed was very comfy and we slept well. The dog exercise/ picnic area was very handy. Great location for us.

Perfect spur of the moment getaway to spend New Year's Eve. Comfortable, cosy and welcoming.

Lovely cosy cottage in quiet location. Well equipped and log burner was the perfect touch for a cool Autumn night. Short walk down quiet lane to lovely welcoming pub with great Sunday Lunch. Great walks in the area along the coast. Nice to see that little has changed in the 35 years since we lived locally.

Well located for the local trips we wished to make - Cardiff museums, St Fagans, Botanic Gardens, Penarth Pier etc.

Just come home from a wonderful stay. We were in Wren cottage which was perfect for us as we have a little dog and this is one of two of the cottages which has a garden and a spectacular view. This is definitely the place to go to get away from it all but still be within easy reach of Cardiff Bay which is beautiful to visit. John and Sian are the perfect hosts ( living the perfect life, in my opinion :) ) and could not do enough for us. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Absolutely beautiful little piece of heaven the cottage is gorgeous and felt like home immediately I really didn’t want to leave back to my crazy hectic life will 100% return

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very comfortable and relaxing. The location was perfect with easy access to Cardiff and the other places we wanted to visit. We’d be happy to stay there again.
