Wonderful atmosphere. Nice place with great walks. Pet friendly.
Shared bathrooms. Old building with creaky floors. We stayed on a quiet night and sounds can be heard from room to room. No tv in room and limited power outlets for charging phones.
we loved the location and the staff were very friendly. And the house cats and dogs were all approachable

We love this hotel! It is quirky with a laid back vibe. The best thing about this hotel is its character and ambience. We love the garden with hammocks and amazing sea views (with sunsets if you are lucky). The rooms are nothing special and the bathrooms are shared but there is something so special about this place which makes none of that matter. I'm sure there are ley lines underneath! The staff are super friendly and laid back and the food is delicious and all homemade. Can't wait to come back.

‘Quirky’ can mean many things.
Like paying for an all-you-can eat buffet that sits there getting cold until they take it away without warning quite soon after you start .
Or shelling out £240 for a room but not getting any toiletries and no warning to bring your own.
Or artwork that borders on the naff.
But it also means a hotel with character.
And a great breakfast.
And the best views on the West Wales coast.
So, if you’re up for ‘quirky’, give it a try.
Bring your own shampoo.

I first visited the Druidstone 45 years ago and fell in love with everything about it; the friendly hosts, the homely decor and atmosphere, the perfect location and delicious food. I feel the same every time I visit including my most recent visit in August 2025, which included a fabulous Greek feast.

I’m always a tad concerned when others call a hotel quirky (what’s one person’s quirky is another person’s odd) but this word is very spy in a very positive way. I’ve never known such a relaxed hotel; the staff (with absolutely no exceptions) went out of their way to engage, chat, explain, facilitate… anything you could want. Early morning coffee I could take on a walk, move cars so mine could charge up, move tables so I could get a great view ( their idea not mine). As a woman travelling on her own, hotels can be daunting, unfriendly and difficult to navigate. Not this one! Yes my room was a tad noisy (but their website did warn of this) and I had to share a bathroom; I didn’t care a doodle! I will definitely be back!

If you want to be in a posh hotel in lap of luxury find another hotel, but if you want a great welcome, feeling relaxed, stunning views and amazing food come to this hotel. The rooms are basic and have a toilet and sink, but a shared shower not sure if there are ones with a shower. We had a sea view looking out St Brides bay. It’s a short walk to Druidstone beach but it’s a steep one so not for those who can’t walk far. It’s on the coastal path. The hotel is dog friendly. We were lucky enough to be there for a feast If you want to be in a posh hotel in lap of luxury find another hotel, but if you want a great welcome, stunning views and amazing food come to this hotel. A winning location with exceptional views of the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast. Many beautiful walking trails. An excellent restaurant where the excellent breakfasts are also served. There is a superbly equipped bar and a charming staff that gives a family feeling. Dogs and cats that add to the homely feeling. Pebbles and biscuit, miss you already.

Great place right on the coast with amazing views from the room. Most of all the staff are great and the place is very relaxing,
no TV in the room which was ok with me.
the room was a little rough around the edges maybe a splash of paint and bathroom update, but this did not distract from the view and people who run the place, well worth visit if you like coastal walks . The Hotel also has a great little bar serving a good selection of beers. Breakfast was also great ( I had traditional English) I wish I could have stayed longer.

The perfect spot looking over the bay. Our December stay was beautifully wild and windy. We loved our sea view from our bedroom window when we woke up in the morning. The hotel is very warm and the staff very relaxed and accommodating. The dining room and hall looked magical for the festive period. There was an exhibition on and artwork for sale all over the hotel. Will definitely return.

The location was fantastic, the views beautiful, the atmosphere, friendliness and quirkiness suited us down to the ground.
The evening meal was delicious! The chef obligingly catered for my vegan diet and produced an amazing humous platter for a starter with just my sort of main course - we were too full to try desserts but feel sure they would have been equally good. My friends mushroom allergy was quickly catered for too and an excellent soup and then omelette with salad were produced. The house wine was good and the service just what we like - genuinely helpful, not pushy but attentive and going the extra mile when needed.
We wanted an earlier start to breakfast and that request was accepted willingly.
The only negative feedback from my point of view is my reluctant agreement with some of the reviews which say the accommodation is on the shabbier side of shabby chic. I love quirkiness and character but I do think that the hotel needs more investment in - and attention to - standard of bathrooms (in particular). This is the only reason I stopped short of giving an overall excellent rating. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!
