Torlands

A beatiful place. Rooms were immaculate. The guest room was a real bonus: large with panoramic views towards the Brecon Beacons. The breakfast menu was extensive and very well cooked. I would recommend this to anyone.

Bharat and Ann are welcoming and attentive hosts. The property was very clean and well-decorated, with excellent views over the countryside from the guest lounge. It was about a 20 minute walk into town - though a steep hill coming back. I would definitely recommend.

We had a one night stay at Torlands and wish we could have stayed longer! The host met us on arrival for check in and showed us to our room. Everything was explained to us and we felt very welcome straight away. The room was very spacious and clean with very modern touches. The bathroom was excellent and also very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast the next morning with a fantastic selection of hot and cold items. We very much look forward to our next stay here.

Bharat was very welcoming. Superb, very comfortable and spotless accommodation. Perfectly situated to walk or drive into Monmouth. Overall, exceptional.

Bharat and Anne are very welcoming. They keep Torlands in tip-top condition. It is immaculately clean, and they will tidy your room for you during your stay if you wish. The breakfast is lovely, and there are lots of little things that make you feel welcome or are thoughtful, such as snacks on the tea tray and a torch by the bed. The only downside for me was that the mattress was a little too soft for my back, but others may prefer this, so I would recommend the place.

This is a beautiful "upside down" house high on a hill with fantastic views. It is a mile or so from town & easily walkable if you don't mind the steep uphill on the return. The bedrooms are on the ground floor & are very well equipped & comfortable. The breakfast, prepared by the property owner, Bharat, was delicious & our stay overall was very good value.

The host was very welcoming and made our stay comfortable. We would like to go back there again. Excellent breakfast Taylor made to our needs.

A lovely place to stay and would not think twice about returning. The views from the property are outstanding. Just a short drive to Monmouth High Street with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Hosts are more than welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was perfect - variety of cereals, fruit, juice and tea/coffee to choose from and the full English was cooked to perfection. You won't be disappointed if you stay

Beautiful property located about 20min walk from the town centre (steep uphill on way back). Modern and well furnished. Great breakfast. Bharat and Ann were wonderful hosts.

Bharat and Ann are lovely hosts and they were super responsive ahead of the trip. The property itself offers stunning views and is super neat and well decorated. The room was spacious and tidy. Parking available on site for a car.

It is a truly splendid B&B with a beautiful view from the living room and a very comfortable room where we stayed. Our room featured a double bed, and the owner thoughtfully provided an air mattress for our 4-year-old son, which we greatly appreciated. Additionally, although the owner was returning from London on the day of our arrival, he kept us updated and was extremely responsive.

Lovely accommodation, very clean and safe. Lovely views from the property especially the guest lounge upstairs. Bharat and Ann looked after us very well including Vegan option for breakfast. Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere in the area. Short drive (could walk it if sufficient time) into Monmouth. Would also recommend eating at Estero Lounge in Monmouth. Have fun.
