Location

Overall, this was a pretty good stay! The location is pretty spectacular. The beachfront walkway is a great area to stroll after visiting some of the restaurants in the area & close to nightlife. There's a little playground area nearest the pier for the kids. The hotel itself has a pool which we didn't get to use but the bon fire area was a nice little bonus. The parking -- public parking garage is fine if you have a small luggage you can carry but Id suggest families spring for the valet since the garage is a little inconvenient with the stairs. Its only $8 more per night, so might as well make it convenient. The room-- super spacious for the King and a pull out sofa. The sofa mattress could use replacement but the king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom fan did not work. Drapes were perfect for blocking out light. We had 2 mini fridges, a microwave and a wet bar which was also nice. The biggest issue we had here was that the music from the piano bar downstairs was so uncomfortably loud on Friday night -- like so loud that my young child couldn't sleep until they cut the music at 11pm. It was not as bad Saturday night but still loud. If you're sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs or stay somewhere else. I was actually surprised, with all of the complaints on here about the noise, that the hotel doesn't supply ear plugs. Anyway, I still think it was worth the stay despite that.

J’avais de grandes attentes sur cet hôtel déjà vu le prix. On paie pour la vue c’est tout. C’est au bord de la Highway 1 , de l’autoroute 101. Et pour couronner le tout le passage du train qui siffle !! On a l’impression de dormir sur la route tellement c’est mal insonoriser. Ne prenez pas petit déjeuné compris car c’est light un croissant un bol de céréales et soit un café soit un jus et si vous voulez du salé vous payez en plus Pas très propre non plus. Les encadrements de portes collaient et les fenêtres pas faites depuis un bon bout de temps.

Great location. Right on the beach and close to pier. Walking distance to downtown. Good restaurants close by. Room was clean. Small, but adequate, bathroom with full-size shower. Air conditioner works great. Parking was fine for us but could be a problem on summer weekends since the public has access. Elevators are relatively fast. Dog-friendly.

The property was in an amazing location and was walkable to the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Parking and unloading luggage was easy as well. Plenty of dining options in the vicinity. The beds were very comfortable and the ocean view was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is pet friendly, on the beach, and has many food and entertainment options available. The staff was considerate and supportive. It was an excellent and unexpected stay that turned out amazing. Thanks for making it easy to have a great time.

The location was great. The downtown Ventura was walking distance. The air conditioner at the hotel was amazing. The staff was good, and the location was perfect.

The hotel was nice. I paid for an upgrade ocean view and the view was almost inaccessible! The sink was always clogging and the plumber couldn’t fix it.

This was a little weekend get-a-way for my husband and I. Picked a good weather weekend. The only thing we did not like, we had an ocean view room and the sliding glass door was not clear. I don't know what the problem was, but you could not see to the outside and there was no screen, so we were not able to enjoy the view.

Very comfortable room. Great location. Amazing views. Wish I could have stayed longer. I will be back.

I stayed here during a work trip and unfortunately had plumbing issues in my room. When I called the front desk, no one apologized or offered to move me to another room — they simply asked when maintenance could come by. I explained I had to be at work and they could enter anytime, but no follow-up was provided. I ended up leaving and checking into another hotel. At check-out, I was told I couldn’t get a refund because it was after 11 AM and I “should have reported it earlier,” even though I had notified them when the issue happened. Later that afternoon, I received a text message asking for feedback about my stay. I shared the same concerns I had given the front desk, but never received any response. Overall, I was very disappointed with how this was handled. On top of that, the rooms, amenities, and elevators are all noticeably outdated. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until both the property and customer service are improved.
