Had to cancel due to illness, they didn't care, charged me anyway

Big disappointment. Have stayed here frequently but never again. It has really gone downhill. Poor breakfast. Closed pool. Mold in bathroom.

It was a nice quiet place. A little dated but was clean.

We booked the hotel based on the pool being an amenity offered. Upon checking in we found out the pool was not in working order, there were cockroaches in the picture frames on the wall, stains on the sheets and no breakfast aside from grey sausage and dried out eggs. I did not get my deposit back because the sheets were already stained upon my stay and I did not let them know, they obviously knew when they put them on the bed that they had a purple stain (what would that have even come from)!! This establishment is a nightmare from start to finish, do not stay here!!

Pool was under "maintenance" but obviously hadn't been touched and just needed cleaned. Exterior door had no handle to enter closer to our room so we always had to use the front entrance. Room was dirty and the hardly any food for breakfast but eggs and some bread.

Room was infested with bed. Bugs wasn't even there an hour.

Front desk staff was very polite. Bathtub is very dirty and water is not draining well. Needs good scrubbing.

Updates being made, improvements to an old building. All was good except the breakfast items were pretty much all gone at 8:30 and not replenished when the time open was 6-9am. The front desk guy did go get some more waffle batter for several of us to have a waffle for breakfast.

I hold la Quinta and Expedia responsible for not making sure this hotel was fit to stay at, before advertising on your wed site the bathroom in our room was gross not hot water the breakfast was terrible, nothing there to eat i would tell people to not stay in that hotel, don't recommended the hotel itself is in bad condition

The hot water heater was broken and we had no hot water, they would not give us any discount because we booked the room through Expedia. The bed was very soft and felt like a half filled air mattress. The breakfast was very disappointing.

No maintenace to property. Rooms without doorknobs, rusty bathtub, plants not trimmed.

About 10 minutes before our arrival, they called to inform us that the hot water was out. It was too late to cancel and find another room so we decided to not cancel the reservation. Room was clean and beds were comfortable so hot water not a huge deal for a 1 night stay. Continental breakfast was terrible. The eggs were a frozen egg substitute that were cold and soggy. If not for the waffle, this would have been a 1 star. Coffee was below average but tolerable. Not my worst hotel experience, but definitely top 5 worse.
