This hotel is in the heart of Athens and a super close walk to everything. As you walk into the hotel, you are greeted by friendly staff and check in was super easy. The rooms were clean and easy to access. However, due to the change of the seasons, the room was quite warm. The breakfast buffet was delicious and showcased the popular foods of Greece. Airport transportation was efficient and the company the hotel provided was professional and friendly as well. This hotel had hotubs on their roof with an amazing view of the Acropolis and Parthenon!

Struttura eccellente sotto tutti i punti di vista. Posizione: è sotto l'acropoli, una salita e si è praticamente di fronte ad uno degli ingressi (il migliore). Vicino all'ottimo museo dell'acropoli. Vicino alla linea rossa della metro, per arrivare direttamente dall'areoporto cambiando a Syntagma. Personale: gentilissimo e disponibilissimo in tutto Colazione: ottima, variegata con buffet internazionale. Jacuzzi: spettacolare all'aperto con vista sulla facciata del Parthenone. Ristorante buono, abbiamo provato una sera a cena e non ci è dispiaciuto. Pulizia quotidiana e perfetta Se dovessi tornare ad Atene non avrei dubbi su dove andare!

The hotel is nice, the rooms are nice and the amenities and location are good. The toilet seats are flimsy thin plastic and the rooms thermostat cannot be adjusted with air and heat at your comfort. We only had heat and it was hot in the rooms and the a/c wasn't an option. Location is good and staff is friendly.

Hotel is in good location. Breakfast was fine. Staff nice. This is my second time here. Room small. Scale in bathroom didn’t work. They gave me a complimentary bottle of wine again and personalized note, which is nice, but they didn’t ask if I drank alcohol, which I don’t and I told them this last time.

Stayed here on 2 reservations- first the superior room a second time was classic room. Both felt similar in size, but superior room had hair conditioner and a nespresso coffee pot with pods. The classic room did not. Both rooms did not have a pen or do not disturb signs for door. Hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel, but really is more like a 2 or 3 star hotel. Elevators are unsteady (especially the rear one). Bell man and front desk has good service. Staff is professional and friendly. Location is excellent. Breakfast is good. Hotel is fine for a 3 star place, good for a 2 star, definitely doesn’t meet expectations of a 4 star place.

Great breakfast. Best eggs ever. Great help with luggage and activities in the area. The lunch was ok. Not the best in the hotel. Burger and fries excellent. The soup was a bit watery. But overall great stay at the end of March

Very complete breakfast, nice view on the Acropole, perfect location, many restaurant at walking distance and in safe area.

Wirklich ein klasse Hotel in Bestlage, direkt neben dem Akropolis Museum und keine fünf Fußminuten vom Aufstieg zur Akropolis entfernt. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle super kompetent und hilfsbereit, vom einchecken bis zum auschecken. Die Zimmer sind relativ groß und sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Besonders beeindruckend ist der Lounge Bereich direkt hinter der Lobby. Sehr gemütlich und einladend nach einem harten Tag mit Besichtigungen. Nicht zu vergessen. Der Rooftop Bereich mit direktem Blick auf die Akropolis, fast zum anfassen nahe.

Herodion is in a very good area with lovely staff. My room had a little balcony with views of the Acropolis; there's also a roof garden with even better views of it. The lobby area is also very cozy to hang out. The breakfast was ok but not the best. Recommended.

Breakfast was delicious, the staff was so helpful, and the location was perfect. The view from our room was so beautiful. The Acropolis was lit up all night and we couldn’t stop looking at it.

From the moment our taxi pulled up to the front, the hotel staff showed nothing but friendliness. We were greeted the moment we stepped out the taxi and were provided assistance with our bags. Front desk staff were very friendly and provided a quick and easy check in. The rooms were very beautiful and clean (I even had a welcome card and bottle of wine waiting for me in my room). Hotel is very centrally located close to all the major archaeological landmarks. Will definitely book this hotel again when I come back.

Breakfast fresh and good location to attractions

Hotel Herodion is perfectly located for all the main attractions of Greece. The bar area and lobby are lovely and the staff are friendly. The rooms however are small and dated and minimal tea tray. It’s odd as it felt a different hotel to what welcomes you on the ground floor. Despite the large atrium shown on the website (which is the bar area), breakfast is served in a smaller room which was noisy and chaotic. The roof was not yet open for the summer season when we went so we didn’t get to use the hot tub and bar up there. We expected something better.

The hotel was perfectly located for visiting the Acropolis and other sites along with having lots of restaurants nearby. The metro station is 2 mins walk away. The rooftop had a beautiful view of the Acropolis. The staff were very helpful and the room clean with all amenities.I would definitely stay there again.

Room was small and bathroom was extremely small and it had a strong odor coming from a floor drain until we covered it with a plastic bag. The roof view was great but the roof bar was not open and there was no heating on the roof so it was too cold to enjoy for long. Breakfast had a lot of options and was nice. The room was a little hot and the only way to cool it was having window open which let in all the noise from the street at night because air conditioning did not work this time of the year. If you want a great location this hotel fits the bill but be aware of the tight spaces.

Konum ve oda güzeldi çalışanlarda ilgili. Ama temizlikte ufak unutmalar oldu gözüme çarpan ama yine gitsem konaklayacağım bir otel olur. Hem konum akropolisin dibi hemde resepsiyondaki arkadaşlar çok tatlıydı. Teşekkürler

Staff amazing! Fantastic location

This was by far the best location with the best breakfast! You are a stones throw from the acropolis. Located on a side street very quiet and super walkable to all the shops, restaurants and sightseeing adventures. Qq believe how delicious the breakfast was so many options buffet style with a Greek twist. We had to leave our last morning really early and they even packed us a breakfast box. The staff was incredible. The Jacuzzi and pool and bar on the rooftop had incredible views of the Acropolis specially at sunset. Would 100% stay here again and tell everyone this is the best spot.
