Fantastic hotel in a central location. Extremely clean, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and a free open bar. I’d move in if I could!

My stay was underwhelming. Nothing was terrible, but the hotel felt run down, with no obvious signs of recent renovation. The biggest frustration was late-night access. After a certain hour, we had to ring the buzzer and wait outside for at least 10 minutes each time, and the staff who eventually answered were not particularly friendly. The room had small issues too. The bathroom was out of paper towels, and we were told the hotel had simply run out. Complimentary drinks were a nice touch, but at over $600 a night, I expected more. Housekeeping was also difficult to arrange. On the first day, we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door in the morning, but when we requested service after 3 p.m., we were told nobody was available. The same thing happened the next day. The location is excellent, but the overall experience didn't justify the price.

The room was overpriced in my opinion but what made it all work was the open bar, wine and cheese and one of the best breakfast buffets we have ever had. The woman making the omelettes was amazing!!

Outstanding staff

Everything was absolutely perfect. The position was incredible. Everything close. Museum....restaurant.....red light district. I will go there again if i go back to amsterdam. Beautifull city.....

Definitely experienced an outstanding stay at Banks Mansion in Amsterdam. The location is in a safe area and walking distance to everything. The staff was excellent and all hotel amenities, including large rooms with AC, complimentary lobby bar and snacks are above all others. Highly recommend the Banks for an unforgettable stay.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Almost everything is included with the cost of the room. They have a lovely breakfast, drinks are available in the lobby( both alcoholic and non), and a charcuterie in the evening.

The staff of the hotel were all amazing and helpful. I especially loved the breakfast staff. The place was clean and comfy. If there was any issue I think the staff should give out a packet on what you can do in Amsterdam upon check in.

Excellent experience.

The staff make this hotel wonderful. The reception staff are friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Sandra who cooks our breakfast is a real gem. The 24 hour complimentary bar and lounge area makes a lovely stay as it is easy to relax in between excursions. We always have a room overlooking the canals and it is lovely to sit and watch the world go by.

This is all inclusive cruise ship in a hotel format. There's plenty of wine, liquor, snacks and a full breakfast. It's equidistant from the main shopping district and from museum square. The rooms are poky, but most people don't go to Amsterdam to sleep all day in their room. While the overall cost was reasonable, there was a very wide variance between the individual nights. Probably something to be mindful of. Overall, a very good experience.
