Overall it was a nice stay. It did however have its problems which could be fixed very easily. The majority of my issue was in the bathroom. The shower head was old and out dated. There was very low pressure. There is no grip on the bottom of the bathtub. I slipped, but was able to catch myself. I ended up laying a towel in the tub to step on.
The next issue I had was when I booked through Expedia, I had to pay $725 of the $880 up front and was instructed to pay the rest at check in. That was not even the case. Doubletree Hotel put a $300 hold on my payment card to cover the leftover balance, a $25 a night parking fee (which I did not see any parking fee on the website) and miscellaneous usage. When we checked out, we got $90 of the $300 back.
It was pretty roomy and comfortable for 6 people, but the "hidden fees" is what bothered me.
We would not mind staying there again, only if they fix these little issues.
