Breakfast room was the highlight - well equipped. Gym was useless as it was small, dysfunctional. Cleanliness was mediocre.

We where charged $40 extra for parking. Didn’t get sheets for sofa too, that we requested

We were originally scheduled to stay for one night, but we decided to extend our stay for an additional night. However, when we returned to the room later that evening, we found that we couldn't access it. We went downstairs to speak with the service staff, and they informed us that our belongings had been packed up because they had given our room to other guests."

We did a hotel in Vancouver and it was HORRIBLE so we were both a bit nervous how this one would be, it was a cheaper hotel than the other one and everything in Montreal was more expensive but we already spent over 3k for our trip and it was limited options. There was a small 2 seater couch, king sized bed, very nice and clean room. Lotion in the bathroom, good shampoo and conditioner, comfy bed, microwave and small mini fridge, nice tv (no channel guide and not compatible with blue tooth to watch shows, but still a nice tv.) The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was served each day. It was way better than I expected which is a huge bonus as we were travelling with our 8m old daughter.

Location and proximity to great things was perfect. Occasionally noisy but it was Friday and Saturday nights so it was some expected. Overall it was better than expected. Good place for ur buck....

To start the experience off the parking that was advertised as being available on site is NOT. It has a valet sign … no valet past 7pm. Self parking for $40 is several buildings/ blocks away. At check-in (on a very busy road/ NO street parking due to high volume of party goers) had to find our own parking as the hotel advertised parking was blocked off. So 15 min walk back to the hotel once parking was found. The building is old and has a smell. The elevator is slow and can not accommodate more than 3 people with light luggage load because it’s so small. The room carpet was old and outdated and smelled. The closet doors were taken off (very apparent it’s due to the tracks being rusty and doors probably never worked) The outside of the building had several vomit pools, the entry doors were never locked and the counter for check-in was empty and not manned. Hence random drunks walking in and grabbing the complementary cups and water and stumbling back out the doors (not to mention how unhygienic it is for random partygoers touching everything). The elevator had a spilt cup of liquid on the floor and it’s OBVIOUS the night crew do not check on anything because it was there from check in to next morning. Again pointing out the individual managing the front desk was never in site and constantly in a back room, Overall for the price / non existent parking that’s off site only … the price for this hotel should be more like $70 a night or rent by the hour.

The hotel claims they offer valet service. I even called them to clarify and specifically mentioned I was disabled and they assured me they had valet parking. When I arrived there, the valet is nothing but a scam. You have to go with valet in the car to the Holiday Inn that’s a block away, where he will park your car in the residents’ parking of the hotel and then you walk back with him. Then you have to go get your car yourself when you are ready to leave the hotel. You are better off parking in a garage close by as it’s cheaper than the 40$ the “valet” costs. While being a block away might not sound like much, when you are disabled, it can make a world of a difference.

I enjoyed the quiet, spacious air conditioned room that had with lots of storage for my clothes and personal effects. The shower was large with a quick flow of hot water. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast room had many tasty choices with an individual waffle maker, sausage, bacon, as well as a variety of fruit and yogurt choices. The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station and subway system, and many downtown attractions. It is situated in the middle of a lively and diverse restaurant and bar scene. This does generate some noise at night as well as the expected littered streets the next morning. The detritus is quickly cleaned up by mid morning. Had a

Room and Building needs a 100% Renovation. Paint peeling, Wallpaper peeling, Carpet Torn and lifting, 2 half empty rolls of Toilet Paper???? Seriously????, Blood stains on the Bathroom Floor?????? etc. Staff almost non-existent, Kind enough but not really caring, Valet was a Joke, Breakfast Room staff looked extremely unprofessional and showed up like they just came from the Gym. The Complimentary Breakfast was underwhelming at best. The food was not terrible but could definitely have been better. The Breakfast staff was extremely nonchalant and acted like they just did not care at all. At one point they mopped the floors and did not put out any floor is wet/slippery signs to warn people. Also the Breakfast Staff did not show any kind of friendliness at all and it almost seemed like they just wanted to get out of there. The area is fine. Some construction is ongoing nearby so it does make the exterior unsightly a bit. Near some local Pubs and shopping so convenience was great. The area for you to park in front of the hotel to check in is absolutely Abysmal to almost non-existent.
