The room smelt like rotten eggs and fish, the bathroom was dirty and outdated.

Hotel was convenient and we were able to walk to most places that we wanted to see. Hotel seems a little dated and I would consider it over priced for the accommodations had. Very small room and air conditioning was barely adequate to cool the room. Breakfast was OK. Nothing special but adequate. Overall - an OK place to stay but nothing special.

Todo muy bien, excelente servicio. Cambiaria el huevo revuelto del desayuno, muy malo. Lo demás muy bueno!

Overall pretty good. AC in the rooms and upper floors was definitely not functioning properly. Our thermostat said it was set to 18° C but it felt like 24° or 25° C. It was also muggy on every level except the base floor. Other than that everything wasn’t bad. Probably our least favorite stay in Spain compared to 4 other hotels but still not bad over all.

Excellent central location to the beach and towns, comfortable beds, lovely breakfast but the rooms are old and tired and very dark. The floors are peeling, furniture is chipped, soap dispensers kept falling off the wall. Shower only worked after modifying. The pool tiles are quite mouldy and the water quite dirty as are the ceiling filters in reception. Limited options for an evening vegetarain meal rhatbhad been paid for in advance so had to dine out. The staff in the dining room work extremely hard but i didnt like seeing cloths used for tables being used for the chairs that have had skin on and kids shoes! Ive stayed in better lower star Eurostars hotels in Valencia so this was all round disappointing

I've been to 63 countries and Rey Ex Don Jaime has been the best personal I've dealt with regarding the professionalism and the kindness, thank you to the reception crew Eloi, Raquel, Salvador, Enrique, Sofia, Tomas, Carlota, Jose, Oscar, Santi, Giorgia, Angels, and the best manager Teresa. I can't stop talking about the food at the hotel that very exceptional and delicious, the chefs should deserve to be recognize, thank you to Gerry, Alba, Sebastian, and Lucia for being the best chefs at a hotel chain. In addition thank you to the dinning crew and bar personal Zynab, Javi, Fernando, Felix, ria, Ghizlan 1 & 2, Lucia, Marci, Leire, Laura. lastly Vilma, yolanda for making my room comfortable and Olver, Nildo. Raquel from events as well.

On entering the hotel the Property looked nice and was lovely and cool. We were dissapointed with the comfort of the beds and asked for topas, Air conditioning was not cool enough so room was stuffy. Pool area was very disappointing for our entire trip we was not able to use as the beds were limited so had no where to be comfortable or leave towels while we took a swim. There is a large outside space where another pool could be located or at least beds positioned with covers from the sun. The gym is very disappointing limited space and equipment is well past its date with rust showing.

Boden war kaputt, Lüftung im Bad hat kaum funktioniert, Bad war nicht abschließbar, Badetür war luftdurchlässig und nur eine Schiebetür. Es war kein richtiges Bett, sondern ein unstabiles Klappgestell. Fernseher war uralt und kaum Sender.

Good location halfway between beach and old town (though I don’t recommend the beach for swimming, dirty sand, floating plastic and oily water). Pool… not really. Small, mold growing around greasy pool edge. Breakfast good. Lots of options, even gluten free. Most of staff very nice; one barman was rude; later I ordered a Caesar salad and received it topped with salted mayo in place of dressing. It was inedible. I did not touch it. They asked why. The “chef” came out and shoved the bottle of dressing in my face. I paid. A woman had just checked in, she came down and showed the desk staff a photo on her phone and said, what animal is this? The staff responded “we don’t know” She asked could you Please remove it from my room. I’ll never know what it was. Thankfully we were leaving. 4 stars? I don’t think so.

Ottima Struttura, curata nei dettagli. Colazione eccellente cosi come la cena. Personale gentile e attento: per il compleanno della mia compagna le hanno fatto trovare frutta e bevanda in camera. Unici appunti: 1) l'aria condizionata non si poteva regolare oltre di 20 gradi e quindi faceva un pó freddo. 2) Nella prenotazione della Mezza Pensione non c'è stata trasparenza sulle bevande escluse.

A pesar de ser un 4*, había un olor horrible a tubería en la habitación que no pudieron solucionar. Les dije en 2 ocasiones que la nevera no enfriaba y lo necesitaba para meter un medicamento y a pesar de decir que estaba arreglado, no era así. Si es verdad que el día antes de irnos, nos ofrecieron cambiar de habitación pero era mucha molestia para un día. Además no disponen de ducha en ninguna habitación y si va una persona mayor, es peligroso bañarse por caídas. La comida y el personal excelente. Aún así no volvería.

This hotel needs to be upgraded. The air conditioner doesn’t work. The rooms smell like sewer or smoke. We requested to change our room to another but it was smaller and same thing. We could not turn off the lights because the switch for the lights were connected to the charging plugs. We ended up unscrewing the light bulbs. t I do not recommend to anyone to stay here unless they update it.

De no ser por la excelente atención del personal de Lobby, esta sería una reseña de 2 solo estrellas. El Exe Rey Don Jaime es un hotel grande, con muchas habitaciones, que claramente ha visto mejores tiempos o tuvo una mejor administración en otro momento, pero que ahora tiene graves carencias como el sistema de aire acondicionado, mi mayor queja, que no funcionó bien en ningún momento durante los 2 días de nuestra estancia y siempre se sentía calurosa, al igual que el pasillo de todo el piso 10. Nuestra habitación era amplia, con una muy buena vista de la ciudad, pero carecía de mobiliario, y en consecuencia se veía sumamente vacía y triste: el pequeño cuarto de recibo de la habitación no tenía ni un mueble, igualmente que el baño. Las paredes no tenían ni un cuadro, la tele es algo vieja y no podíamos ver casi ningún canal, solo había una butaca en toda la habitación, la caja de seguridad era muy complicada de operar en comparación a la que se encuentran en otros hoteles, los elevadores son lentos y ruidosos, etc. Los suministros para el baño estaban bien y completos, la habitación estaba limpia y sin olores extraños. El área de lobby y bar está bastante bien. El área de desayunos tiende a saturarse de huéspedes y es algo ruidosa y movida, pero los alimentos estaban bastante bien y bien surtidos. La peor experiencia fue ciertamente la del aire acondicionado. La mejor experiencia fue el excelente trato del personal.
