Horrible parking. Had to get the security to move his vehicle so I could unload. I asked him to stay outside while I unloaded because of the homeless people by the door. He didn’t 😖 Room stunk like dope. Elevator carpet needed to be replaced 5 years ago. I asked for a recommendation for a restaurant when checking in and was told to go to Tim Hortons. There was a Boston Pizza a block away that was still open.

Hotel itself was clean but outside there were homeless people asking for money. There is no free parking available to customers and this was a big disappointment for me. Didn’t like parking on street because of homeless people in area.

Room was clean, staff very helpful only reason for the less than perfect was the tv was very bad. Needs a new one

The accommodations were comfortable and clean. It's probably overdue for a renovation or refresh. Shirley at the front desk was lovely and helpful. My daughter and I enjoyed several conversations with her during our stay.

The room in good condition

I’m the kind of guy who likes to give 10/10 ratings but this place is not it. Let me be as specific as possible for a two day stay in Room 304. For the price I paid, this is what I got: 1. Breakfast not included “sorry”. 2. Room on the smaller side. Manageable, but small. 3. No bath mat. 4. Very cheap soap, hard and non-lathering. Worth 50 cents or less, probably has tallow in it. 5. Toilet bowl has black stains. Not unhygienic, but aesthetically awful. 6. No housecleaning the next day. Was told this was on alternate days, only if requested by 10 am the same day. I also stayed 1 day at Super 8 closer to the airport, so can’t comment on housekeeping but for the same price a roomier unit, Dove soap bar, bath mat, cleaner, breakfast included. I noticed the manager replies to the good reviews, if he’s honest to himself deep inside he’ll reply to this one.

April travel with wife. Staff very hospitable. Short walking distance to old town and the Dettah ice road where it is still open and a good spot to watch the Aurora.

An old hotel with enough upgrades to work ok. Staff deserve 4 or 5 stars across the board. A broken elevator on arrival (did I say old hotel) meant walking up four floors. Fixed within hours and the balance of .y stay was fine.

Check in was easy, even with our flight being delayed until 1:30am. The staff was wonderful! Our luggage unfortunately didn’t make it to Yellowknife, so the staff provided us with the toiletries we needed. The elevator was down for a couple of days, so climbing up 4 flights of stairs became a little annoying. There were som questionable homeless people in the area, but there was security at all hours in the hotel and they were honestly harmless compared to what we deal with in LA. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go as it was central to a lot of restaurants and stores. Overall, it was a great stay for what we paid compared to the other properties in the area. Property was clean, staff was friendly and it was pretty central to everything we wanted to check out. I would recommend it over all.

Old and dated property, but served my needs. Unable to regulate room temp as the thermostat was broken, had to call maintenance twice in 3 days. Elevator was out for 3 days, had to use outside stairs and carry luggage up 4 flights. Coffee maker broke day 2 and leaked water everywhere, however it was promptly replaced when reported. Security recommended not to go outside at night, however, I did several times and never felt unsafe.

The room was 27C and I could not lower the temperature. The room was tiny - not much room to manouver around. The window sill and cover for the radiator was coming off the wall. Plugs were limited. The elevator was not working and so to access the staircase you have to go outside to a separate entrance from the lobby. The hotel was quiet and near where I needed to be but considering the cost $259/night there is much to be desired.

I only can say bad bad bad

The thermostat in the room wasn’t functional and the room stayed at 30°c all night, making sleep almost impossible. The rooms shown in pictures while booking don’t get close to matching in person, there was bare plywood covering a window that must be broken, the tub components were coming off of the wall, and the room was far smaller than shown. Staff were friendly. But the whole building also stank

Room never cleaned. Carpets paint tired. Centrally located.

There were long black hairs left on every surface in the washroom. Obvious lack of attention to detail with the cleaning staff. Parking arrangements are less than ideal, not to mention inconvenient.

壁が薄くて廊下や隣の部屋の音が聞こえる。 またお風呂は詰まっているのかなかなか排水がされず、2名で泊まったので前の人の排水が終わってから次の人が入るようにするなど気を使った。（フロントに伝えたが改善はされなかった）また最初水しか出ず、ホテルフロントに言ったらその後出るようになったが、翌日はまた水しか出なかった。好きなタイミングでお風呂に入れず最後は諦めた。 連泊したがタオル交換や部屋掃除はなし。 ゴミ箱も交換が必要なら廊下に出しておくルールのよう。海外なのでそれが「基本ルール」なのかもしれないが、事前説明はないし、こちらも英語が堪能ではないので、苦労した宿泊になった。
