The Halliburton was a wonderful stay. Close to the boardwalk and Via Rail train station. A very walkable location. Super comfy bed. Very quiet. Great shower. Friendly staff.

Beautiful heritage hotel. Walking distance to everything downtown,

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. We are in mid May and the weather can be iffy but the central heating was just blowing cool air. The room was very cold and no way to turn up heat in individual rooms.my husband can only drink decaf coffee and after asking multiple times never received any. We got answer like, sorry we're out of it or just a shrug. They advertise drinks can be served until 9 pm. Except some nights there is no one old enough to serve the wine etc. Small things that can easily be resolved. If you are looking for a hotel close to everything in downtown it's perfect. Just don't expect 5 star luxury.

A quaint and historic location to explore downtown Halifax.

We checked in and found that the room had no independent heating/cooling and relyed on the central control for the whole building (building 3). Also building 1 had a very bad odour and the staff were, overall, very unhelpful.

The Staff were fantastic and the rooms were wonderful. A great place to stay near the wharf.

Familiäres Hotel auf drei nebeneinander stehenden, traditionellen Holzhäusern verteilt, verbunden durch eine eindrückliche Holzveranda auf der Rückseite. Für das Morgenessen gingen wir schräg über die Strasse zum “WireMonk”. Sehr nahe an der Hafenpromenade, vieles zu Fuss machbar. Zimmer sehr sauber, Personal zuvorkommend freundlich und aufgestellt.

Lovely stay, nice breakfast delivered to our room. Kind staff. This was a nice location and historic building. Parking was free.

Staff was friendly. The location was good. Bed was firm and small.

This a great little hotel very conveniently located to the city center and the water front. We flew in and used only public transportation and took Via rail out which was only a short walk away. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Well located hotel near to station and five minutes walk to boardwalk . Lovely little boutique hotel that reminds me of an old English Manor study . Think Cludoe. Lovely touches in the bedroom , real capsule coffee , ironing board ect . Really helpful staff .

Staff was helpful, parking was ok, the room was fine really no complaints on the room, other than the location of the room was front of the building and the street was quite noisy. Location of the hotel is very good to walk down to the waterfront. We would stay again most likely

I have stayed at this property before. I am extremely disappointed during the check in process. Sadly some extreme comments were spoken very loudly and found to be unprofessional . It was passed check in permitted time. The room was not ready, person from behind back room rudely and very loudly sad stated. " The room is not ready tough , deal with it, it is not that hard to wait". I had finished an over night shift of 12 hours travelled, was tired, just looking to sit on peace and quiet. Not have added stress to an arrival.
