There are people hanging out everywhere in the lobby, people outside, smoking cigarettes, talking on the phone at all hours. The felt very creepy in there. Did not feel extremely safe even though the location was close to the bridge in Dartmouth. Would not recommend.

The hotel has no elevator which is difficult for travellers with luggages. Breakfast is fair and the room I stayed, the heater/AC control was broken so they tried to fix it and they taught me how to change the temperature in the main unit. The staff were all polite and kind and friendly. All in all I would say 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Despite the website listing the hotel as pet friendly when we arrived to check in we were turned away because we had our dog. The desk staff were very polite and friendly but the inconvenience was huge. I respect your decision to exclude nonservice animals, but update your website to reflect that decision.

Ensure the toilets flush better The stopper in the tub was not working properly. The room had splash on the wall as you go across from the bathroom looked like coffee coke or Pepsi There was no extra Kleenex in the room only a few in the bathroom.

A/c unit is a dated wall unit that was not controllable by the thermostat. Hallway retains the smell of tobacco use. Breakfast and staff were very good.

Breakfast had a wide selection of food. Room was clean and bed was comfy. The person who checked us in was friendly but didn't really communicate great. Not what i am used to when i check into other hotels. We were on the second floor and had to ask where the stairs were to get to the second floor as they didn't mention it to us when we checked in. Also didn't mention the wifi password or that it was inside the room card holder (i looked inside the card holder as i know that is where other hotels put it) or what time breakfast started. Also, my address was not showing up correctly on the tablet and the person entered my correct info into the system. She mentioned to me to confirm on the tablet so i was standing there waiting for my correct address to appear and it wasn't so i mentioned my address was still incorrect. The person finally mentioned that it will not show on the tablet but to just confirm the other info. I am used to either tapping the key to the door or inserting the key to open the door but this key card needed to be held an inch or two away from the door to open the door. I had to have them come up as i couldn't open the door. Entered the room.and it was cold. Had to have the front desk come back up as i couldn't get the heat/ac unit to work.
