We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation. The hosts were very accommodating of our dietary requirements, which was greatly appreciated. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and very comfortable beds. Everything was well maintained and cleaned to a high standard throughout our stay. The location was fantastic, with easy access to local amenities, the pier and lovely walks. It’s also only around 5 minutes from a beautiful sandy beach. Ross-on-Sea is about 15 minutes away by car and is well worth a visit, with its lovely little town and another gorgeous sandy beach. Parking is limited, but street parking is available from 5pm until 10am, although the car does need to be moved after 10am. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and found it to be a great base for exploring the area. We would happily stay again!

Room was just a trifle pokey (3rd floor) and couldn't decifer shower adjustment. Otherwise superb

Room was clean however had stained towels which I have asked to be replaced; We paid for Executive Sea View and there was no Seaview but 'scaffolding view' on refurbished hotel across the street; Some of the floorboards were collapsed under the carpet on one side of the bed making getting of the bed really uncomfortable, I have contacted Hotel couple of weeks before just after booking explaining I am recovering from cancer asking for double bed in our Seaview room.. been ignored in the end as no Seaview and no double bed but two Single Beds connected where each have different mattress softness, both uncomfortable. Furniture in the room very tired-blue armchairs had dirty stains, heavy curtains didn't have any curtain tie-backs, only one USB charging pint in the room which was actually faulty as required charging for whole night, overall I would never call this room 'Executive Sea View' and defiantly not worth the money we paid for it Breakfast was very nice, good choice of choice of fruits, cereals, juices as well as wide choice of products for cooked full English

Great location, however service not the best. Our luggages were sent to wrong room, ac had a tiny leak. But location was the best, staff were friendly and kind, offered us drinks as our luggages came late

Our first stay, thought we would have some luxury for our 25th wedding anniversary. We booked a double sea view glimpse room with breakfast and paid extra for luxury chocolates and a romamce package which was rose petals and a heart balloon. We mentioned it was our anniversary on check in so we did get an annerversary card from the team in the room. The room was nice, comfy bed, great view but no romance package or chocolates! After ringing reception the lady apologised and said would not be able to get the balloon now, so we asked for a refund. Bit disappointed! Nice big bathroom but could do with a grab rail as can get slippy getting out of the bath/shower. A few guests slammed doors nearly all night so did not sleep well. Breakfast was a selection of continental and hot breakfast, we only had hot cooked breakfast, it was ok had better. Had a nice stay but not what was expected for our silver wedding anniversary! We have stayed in 3 star hotels in Llandudno which were better & cheaper! Disappointing stay!

Very disappointed with the George this time not the room but the Staff ,just felt they weren't interested in customer service I could go on but that's my opinion in short

Old established hotel on the sea front. Great location. Staff very helpful Room was fine, comfy bed, large bathroom Car park was a scramble, pre-book if you can, as it's not big enough for the number of rooms in the hotel. Negative- breakfast, first morning everything was over cooked, burnt sausage, dry bacon, dry hash brown, over cooked eggs. OK for cereal and fruit and all the usual non cooked items. Disappointing for a 4 star hotel. It did improve slightly on the 2nd morning.

Staff excellent, food good, particularly the breakfast. Housekeeping excellent (daily), great location. Car parking limited. Would highly recommend the hotel.

Excellent location ( near to town centre and promenade). Air conditioned rooms ( now essential ! ). The whole hotel coped well with hot weather. Attentive and professional staff throughout. Sea view rooms face North so they avoid heat for most of the day.

Very well located hotel very close to cafes, restaurants, bars. Staff extremely helpful and efficient. Room spacious and clean. Bathroom well maintained. Breakfast and evening meal were plentiful and very well cooked.

Reception check in was brief, and rushed. Maybe wrong person as overheard another member of staff explaining everything. Our room had an odd smell coming from the toilet constantly. We had to keep the door closed at all times. There were no black out curtains, just blinds , so light was getting into room early, affecting sleep. Breakfast was very disappointing, staff unhelpful, and choice was very poor and sparse. We are there just the one morning and decided to go elsewhere for the rest of our stay. On the plus side the location is great, reception and lounge and restaurant area were very clean and comfortable.

Absolutely lovely hotel, perfect location and great breakfast. The temperature was lovely with the air-conditioning, the beds were very comfortable and the curtains really shut the sun out. We needed a good nights sleep in the hot weather. Just splendid
