The room was so modern and felt very clean. I was actually very surprised because of how cheap it was. It was so comfortable I didn’t get out of my room all week.

I get today’s workforce doesn’t necessarily give 100% anymore but to have the guy look like he just got out of bed when checking me in late that evening, just gave a not so great first impression. The elevator by the back door seemed sketchy. My kids preferred using the stairs the next day because the elevator seemed like it would break at any moment. The rooms were clean, but definitely not anything to brag about. You can tell it’s all old and remodeled. I was literally waiting for bugs to come out at any moment. I also understand this place is only a few miles away from the airport so I expected to hear planes, but after a long trip, I was hoping to sleep & didn’t get much of it due to the planes sounding like they’d come crashing in at any moment. Take earplugs if you hope to get some rest. Last, check your credit card statements afterward. I paid the deposit expecting it to just be a hold but 10 days later, the $100 charge was still on my card. I called the hotel directly and they got it fixed, but had I not noticed, they would’ve kept my money. Overall, if you need a quick, cheap place to rest going or leaving IAH, then it’s fine. But if you want a nice place, look elsewhere.

My daughter was bitten all over with bed bugs and when confronting the manager she was very rude!

Very friendly staff and always willing to answer questions and help.

Everything was excellent..EXCEPT NO POOL WORKING. WATER WAS GREEN. HAD I known, I would have stayed somewhere else with a working pool!!

It was ok for a one night stay. The bed was hard and lumpy. There were no vending machines. It was clean and seems like it was updated but still felt like an old hotel.

Great for a close airport hotel. Would liked to have working fountains, a breakfast option and extra pillows:)

Initial room lock was broken and had to transfer to a different room that had working locks but had a little space on the door frame. I could peek through the space and see a little bit of the room.

5mns from the airport. We didn’t have to rush to avoid traffic. Stayed for three nights on 7/4/25. Breakfast was ok, they serve the same breakfast daily. It has everything. Coffee was good and it’s available any time in the lobby. The room was good. The rug in the hallway smell a little. The elevator is outdated. AC works. The shower curtain has some dry booger . Overall , it was a good stay.

The bed

The first room we were given had a horrific smell and the couch had so many fresh stains that you could not comfortably sit on. The second room we were given had no A/C. The third room had baby roaches all over the place but at that point i gave up. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

No hot water was there for 4 days in the water never got hot.

I stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Bush IAH South for five days. I picked this location for the pool and washer amenities. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for four out of those five days. On the final day, it finally reopened—but as someone with a background in pool maintenance, I can say it was still not clean or well-maintained (see attached photo.water is not clear at all like in their website photo. they need to drain and refill water, they only added chemicals)... (sorry to the people caught in the photo) Another disappointment was the advertised washer and dryer amenities. All machines were out of order for the entire duration of my stay, which was especially inconvenient for a longer trip. If these issues had not been present, my rating would’ve been higher. The staff was polite and the location is convenient, but the lack of functioning amenities definitely impacted my experience.
