It is well placed ,spacious and has character. Parking is tricky ,£12 for a nights stay We have been lucky to find a space at the hotel ! Breakfast was superb .

A magnificent Victorian building in pristine condition. All aspects of this hotel were excellent. The staff are all pleasant and helpful. The food was very good. A tasty evening menu was really enjoyable Breakfast very good also. We reall enjoyed our stay and will be back

Room very disappointing , bathroom tierd and too small sink absolutely waste of time could hardly access that taps as was fitted so close to the wall , avoid room 247 , great breakfast though and location to town .

Had a great 2 night stay at the Old Swan Hotel. Beautiful room with very comfortable bed and pillows. So quiet. Breakfast was really nice with fresh fruit salad and gorgeous seeded bread. A great break in beautiful Harrogate

A lovely well positioned hotel in a beautiful town, staff were friendly and helpful and we would love to stay again in the future. Food was excellent and breakfast good quality though could have been hotter. Only negative for us was the mattress we thought was very worn.

Very nice hotel but showing it's age in places. (Aren't we all)! My single room was small and felt very old but the bed was comfortable and that's all I needed. I never like small showers but I was only there for two nights. When I arrived the lift was being serviced but a member of staff took me and my luggage up in the service lift so all was well. Breakfast was all that I needed. So despite the small niggles I would recommend The Old Swan hotel.

The hotel building is amazing! My room was ok - inevitably with an old building the floors were a bit creaky! The bathroom felt a bit cramped but had everything needed.

We enjoyed our short stay and the hotel met our expectations.It is in an ideal location and is well presented.We used the bar area quiet seating area both of which are presented to a high standard.The dining hall is a joy to sit in to eat.

The only downside to my 2 night stay was the very noisy, creaky bedroom floor!

Breakfast was really fresh and quality ingredients. A bice buzz about the place staff v friendly. Whereabouts of the car parks before arriving is only constructive comment to make.

Lovely breakfast

A lovely hotel with 'an old English' atmosphere. The dining room was amazing and the breakfast (and staff) was outstanding. I didn't have dinner there as the prices were steep. But it's only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Harrogate. The parking was £12 per night which I think is far too much, especially as they advertise over 100 spaces so there is no need to fleece people like that. The wifi was strong so I was happy about that.
