The hotel was beautiful and the room lovely. Receptionist was super helpful. However taking a star off as the bar menu had a flight of negronis on and we got very excited about trying this. Unfortunately it was unavailable and we were told it should have been taken off the menu. The bar seemed a bit lacklustre so we headed out to get some cocktails elsewhere.

Room was clean and lovely big bathroom with everything you need . Fairly quiet. Very pleasant and helpful front desk staff.

We were very impressed with the whole stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful, food in the restaurant was delicious and the room was spacious and comfortable. Lovely view of the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Room spotless Avon gorge and suspension bridge view lovely staff very good Husband booked the restaurant for my birthday Sunday Roast again enjoyable as we came for Mother’s Day 2025 too with my elderly, mum and daughter they loved it , Would we come again. Definitely Any special offers would maybe tempt us to book again

Room not ready when we arrived at around fifteen hundred hours asked to wait would have been nice to be offered tea or coffee

Room not ready on arrival. Not offered parking permit that overheard being offered to other guests. Awful eggy smell in the corridor near room we were allocated. No view of the suspension bridge and valley during breakfast as the windows had not been cleared of the condensation. Little to no friendliness and general service from both the reception and restaurant staff. Need to do much better!

The room was ok but was a bit smelly and musty.

Lovely night stay before a flight from Bristol . Great room although could do with a bit better lighting. Everything was spotless the staff were great and a really nice breakfast

Lovely room with en-suite and L’occitane products in the bathroom. Bed very comfortable but room too warm. Very helpful staff and cosy lounge bar.

The room was clean, the view was awesome, the bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing, the staff were friendly and helpful! The only reason I have given it 4 stars and not 5 is because the old Georgian sash windows rattled and kept me awake. If I had been staying longer than one night I would have asked to be moved to a different room.

Like the variety of restaurant/bar choices. Our room was lovely and roomy, and I loved the shower.

We had the lovely and spacious balcony room with views of the suspension bridge which was so worth it. Late checkout was a great bonus as hotel wasn’t too busy the next day. Thoroughly recommended
