Great room amenities and good room services

Even though the hotel is a bit old and tired (it will close for a year for a very welcome renovation of the 340 rooms and amenities), Eren and his staff made the stay incredibly enjoyable. They bend backwards to accommodate your every wish and treat you like royalty. Truly exceptional, well done!!

We love this hotel! It feels smaller and very service oriented. The staff were amazing! The Gold service was absolutely excellent with a wonderful breakfast each day and friendly and professional Concierge. The location of the Fairmont Winnipeg is also perfect for all sorts of walking or exploring cafes, bars and restaurants in the Exchange District. Love it!

Hi love this hotel. I booked through Expedia but you didn’t mention that they had already started their renovation. So it was noisy from about 8:30 to 5:00. Fairmont Winnipeg has it on their website but I didn’t look at their website. They are closing for a year starting in July. You may want something on your website regarding the renovation that has already started.

Room was clean, staff nice, gold experience was good

I was expecting to make good use of the hot tub and sauna, but neither was available. The room was very nice and the service was exceptional, but I was disappointed about the amenities that were not available.

Gold floor service was outstanding. Rooms need some renovations, especially the bathrooms.

Having stayed at Fairmont Pacific Rim, Fairmont Empress, and Fairmont Royal York, this new stay at Fairmont Winnipeg was very underwhelming for several reasons. When compared to other Fairmont locations, this Gold experience lacked the excellent service expected, breakfast selection was poor, overall building was in need of renovations (Room’s ceiling had obvious water damage and paint was missing in some areas). The Lounge restaurant in the hotel served butter chicken where the chicken was undercooked; raw. The staff were friendly however did not seek to amaze their clients (When compared to Shangri-La). Would not recommend nor return in the future.

Was looking forward to use the sauna but it was out of order. Otherwise very friendly and clean. A great location especially in the summer for what is near by. Would love to see a hot tub added.

Enjoyed the Fairmont Gold Experience. Gold Lounge was closed for renovations on our last day, but the hotel took great care of us in the restaurant for breakfast. We will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Fairmont Gold. The breakfast was amazing and extra snacks at 5:00pm meant we didn't have to worry about going to eat so much. The highlight was definitely the food, view and staff. The hotel is also so close to many cool restaurants, spas and cocktail bars. Parking was a bit annoying sometimes, but the staff took care of our issue promotly. We will be returning.

Excellent stay at the Fairmont gold. Staff were super friendly. Food at the lounge was great. Extra points for the bonus charcuterie board, cookies, and chocolates in the room upon arrival.

I was not overly impressed with the rooms in the gold suites. Was expecting sinks that drained properly and not regularly tub/shower units with poor quality shower heads. Other than that it was a descent stay.

Fantastic hotel and staff, gold club is pricey but oh so nice and with delicious food and beautiful lounge. Parkade is not convenient as doors lock on weekends, so go through the basement mall to get there. Lovely hotel

Beds were great and bedding was very nice. Overall very minimal on luxury and poor room maintenance. Blackout blinds broken, bathroom door would not close, drawer slides broken and bathrobe had lipstick stains on them. The gold experience was definitely not worth the extra cost. The cocktail hour does not include drinks?? Never stayed in an executive room that charged for drinks during the cocktail hour.

The staff was beyond friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and lots of luxurious touches throughout. I will definitely be back!
