Great location in Banff, wonderful restaurant

When walking into the Elk + Avenue Hotel the lobby is absolutely stunning, so you would expect the entire hotel to be that way... wrong. The rooms are budget at best. We spent 8 days exploring Banff and Jasper and this was definitely my least favorite hotel. The rooms are super dated and in need of some TLC. Our shower was also broken - the rain shower portion wouldn't work, so we had to use the wand. The two best things about this hotel are the underground parking ($10 CAD/night) and the location to downtown. Parking was super convenient and we were able to take the elevator from the garage directly to a few doors down from our room (located on the 1st floor). Bed was also very comfy. Wouldn't stay here again if we ever came back to Banff.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, die Betten sehr gut! Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist trotzdem sehr ruhig. Direkt gegenüber ist ein Supermarkt. Das Auto steht gut und sicher in der Tiefgarage ( 10$ pro Nacht)

The room was not clean at all.

Staff were lovely and provided thoughtful free amenities- bear spray and e-bikes to use around town. Location can’t be beat.

The hotel was very clean, the room was clean, the staff was friendly. The restraunt in the hotel was absolutely amazing. I will be staying here again!

Really comfortable beds, close to downtown restaurants and attractions . Farm and Fire in the hotel has great food. I had supper and breakfast there

We had an excellent stay. A memorable one.

The room was a little dated, but it was clean! The bathroom was updated- staff were friendly and helpful. Awesome location- walkable to everything in town.

Staff are amazing. Kelly at the front desk went over and above. One of our travel group had some back issues and Jelly got us a loaner wheelchair. Just great staff! Very friendly and helpful

Hotel is charming and super close to Banff Ave. The rooms could use with a little refreshing - a fresh coat of paint on the walls and ceiling would be nice. The room and bathroom were clean and fresh. Staff was helpful and friendly. Restaurant was excellent- best dining experience we’ve had in awhile. Great food, drinks, and staff.
