The hotel is set in lovely grounds, and the reception staff were very welcoming and friendly on arrival. Room 1, was clean and well presented, however, the double bed was quite small for us we probably should have upgraded our room. While comfortable enough, some of the rooms could benefit from modernisation to bring them up to date. One thing worth noting is that the hotel has a lot of stairs and split-level areas. We made use of the terrace area on our first day when the weather was nice. Unfortunately, it felt a little neglected and could do with some TLC. There were quite a few cobwebs, cushions were scattered around, and it lacked atmosphere. It felt as though chairs had simply been placed there without much thought given to creating an inviting space. Our main reason for visiting was to use the spa facilities. The changing rooms were extremely hot as the air conditioning appeared to be broken. There was also maintenance work taking place, which created some noise while we were trying to relax by the swimming pool. At one point, condensation was dripping from the ceiling onto the indoor lounge area, making the spa feel rather stuffy. The sauna and steam room were both enjoyable, and the hot tub was a pleasant temperature. There was visible soap scum aro around the edge, and it appeared unusually foamy. Breakfast offered a good selection of options, allowing us to choose exactly what we wanted. Everything was well presented and freshly cooked.

This hotel is set in lovely grounds. The hotel was a manor house, I believe. I would say that my room required a little tlc with attention to detail. The reception staff were amazing, very welcoming and super helpful. We ate in the bar. I would say that the bar menu is limited, not sure why, when the restaurant has an open door to the bar, I could see restaurant customers eating their food, I was that close. It is table service in the bar; however, we were not offered additional drinks and had to go to the bar. They could make more money if they tended to their customers. It wasn't busy when we were there, the staff were new, and the hotel manager seemed to be very busy. All that said, I would probably stay there again, as it is the best hotel close to the Brands Hatch circuit.

The grounds are particularly beautiful and a pleasure to walk through, which we did over 2 days, on our way to Brands Hatch circuit which is a 12 minute walk to the Paddock Entrance. We had a standard double room, ample in space and very clean, quirky bathroom, lovely towels and very comfy bed. TV could’ve had more channels and a fridge would’ve been useful. Didn’t use the spa or restaurant so can’t comment. Overall ambience and service was great and would definitely stay again as proximity to Brands is perfect.

Room could do with a little extra upkeep. Staff in the hotel were excellent. Spa area is small but perfectly functional. Pool was lovely and warm.

What made my stay enjoyable was the Absolutely LOVELY Staff who work there. The hotel is badly in need of a complete refurbishment. It is tired and old fashioned. The breakfast was lovely. Another sausage would have been good.

Room far too hot you couldn't turn down the radiator as the control was broken. Radiator too hot to touch. So bad nights sleep. Hairdryer blew up when I went to use.

Had a lovely stay and dinner was great would recommend

We have stayed at the Hotel before and it is dog friendly and very convenient for the Channel Tunnel. The staff are very friendly and the rooms for pets are comfortable.
