Quiet, clean

They had lots of great activities for the kids and the staff were great. We unfortunately, had a room in a stairwell and this made sleeping next to impossible. Not sure why they planned on putting a room in a stairwell, but not ideal whatsoever. Each time someone opened the stairwell door, it sounded like someone was trying to come into our room.

We are seniors and didn't use the pool.

The pool + slide is undoubtedly the reason we booked this hotel for our young teen girls. Unfortunately during our stay though, just as our girls got into the pool, the fire alarm sounded and the hotel was evacuated. Shortly after getting the "all clear" from the firefighters, our family headed back into the pool - but then it was shut down shortly after for the rest of the evening because a child had excreted in it. Out of the hotel's control, but a disappointing experience to say the least. We did enjoy that our room was not in the courtyard area, which made it quieter. The hotel staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and is in a convenient location.

Pool was great, but there were a lot of young children late into evening.

Was disappointed we paid full price and the slide wasn’t working. Our view was the back of a mountain that didn’t work. Out room was in a staircase so VERY noisy when anyone came in the stair well.. was a very nice hotel, but wish it was a better trip for us

Pool was great. Bath tub in room was peeling and bathwater/ kids were full of white chips of paint.

Everything was good. I wish the pool was a little bit warmer and when it’s busy, there’s not enough chairs around the pool for everyone.

Pool was great, renovations are great and our room was much quieter than expected, given that our room was right beside the pool and on the 3rd floor!

Pros: The pool was a highlight for our family; our kids (13 and 9) had a great time, especially on the slide, which was their favourite part. It did get busy, but that was expected. We loved that our room had a balcony overlooking the pool, and the warm, humid air helped our swimsuits dry quickly. The bathroom had both a tub and separate a shower with a seat, which my son thought was great. We stayed in a Junior Queen suite, and overall, the room met our needs. Cons: On our first night, the pool closed early due to an issue, which was very disappointing as we had planned a late night swim all day. That same evening, a fire alarm resulted in an evacuation. My husband and daughter were in the pool area and were directed to an upper outdoor deck where they couldn’t exit. It was cold, and it raised concerns about what would have happened in a real emergency. The lifeguards were friendly, but they didn’t appear to actively monitor swimmers consistently. While there are signs stating the pool is unsupervised (and we always supervise our children), it felt odd given that lifeguards were present. Lastly, the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, far beyond what we expected. None of us slept well while trying to get the kids settled.

Kids loved the pool! Too bad we didn’t know about the water slide hours until we got there. Would’ve been helpful to know before we booked. The room was comfortable for one night stay and the location was close to other restaurant options.

It was good. We were very disappointed that the pool was closed for most of the evening due to a “massive biohazard incident” and having to evacuate the building 2x due to fire alarms going off.

Hotel is a bit dated, but still very clean. The pool was incredible, warm, clean, and even though a bit crowded it still felt safe. Kids didn’t want to leave and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. It was a great getaway!

It was a very busy night there with a lot of children in the pool which is ok but a lot of the children also filled the hot tub for lengthy times leaving no time for adults, it was loud but I could not hear it in my room, overall it was an excellent stay.

We stayed for one night and wanted to stay longer but the hotel was fully booked as it should be because it was an excellent atmosphere with friendly staff that was always there to help if needed
