Location is great. Room is very clean though very small, which would not be a problem except that they are tightly spaced and poorly isolated so every cough is heard. Guests behave well within that constraint. Breakfast in other reviews is overrated. It's fine though adding whole fruit instead of fruit salad would be an improvement. Weirdest thing is an all-day, all-night creepy noise coming through the pipes, sounds like an underworld villain playing a fife. We called it the Upside-Down demonic music.

La estadía fue maravillosa hasta el minuto del checkout. La parte maravillosa: cómo nos atendieron en recepción, la habitación con vista maravillosa, la ubicación, etc. Lo malo? Nos cobraron el city tax sin haber avisado antes (siemore avisan). Además que la persona en recepción, ese día, fue realmente grosero. Nos sorprendió pues todo el resto del personal fue increíble.

Nous avons laissé nos bagages dans la journée, en revenant le soir elles étaients dans le hall d’entrée à la vue de tous.. La chambre était sale, ne correspondait pas au photo, chasse d’eau qui ne fonctionnait pas correctement, agencement a revoir, la baignoire est horrible. La gestion de la température inexistant, il faisait froid, franchement pour le prix que j’ai payé je n’ai jamais vu ca. Je ne comprends pas les notes de cette Hotel.

An exceptional, charming, small independent hotel. Staff is wonderful, room is large, laundry service is included. This was such a lucky find, and I will absolutely stay there again when I come back to Paris, and will highly recommend the Grand Hotel Francais to everyone!

Really enjoyed our stay would love to visit again

This hotel was not super close to most tourist spots, but had nearby options for the metro. The neighborhood seemed authentic Parisian, where natives would shop and eat. We were recommended a couple of good restaurants nearby by the hotel staff, who were always helpful. The room was very small by North American standards, but had everything we needed. There is a breakfast room in the basement with a decent if not exciting offering for 14 euros. We were very pleased by the neighborhood.

The property was very clean, had all the facilities needed and the breakfast served was nice with lots of choice. All members of staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and very clean.

Absence d’insonorisation: on entend même le voisin éternuer! Du bruit toute une nuit. Une des trois fenêtres ne ferme pas complètement. Jolie chambre, avec du rangement mais aucune place pour poser les affaires ni même la savonnette dans la salle de bains. Propreté passable. Personnel moyennement motivé.

Worth it!!

The A.C.unit of whole hotel was not working & we slept whole night without A.C.& fan, it was terrible expereince.I will never reccomend this property to anyone.The staff was least bothered about guest inconvienience.

Good traditional Parisian hotel in an area with lots of good restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away Very near metro stations so excellent transport links.

Parfait pour une nuit

Excellent choice for our hotel. We liked the location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Speaking English fluently. Room is a normal size for the location, tiny. The property may be a bit dated, but it was not detracting from the experience. We liked the room and amenities it provided.
