There was no cleanliness and in the rooms there was lots of humidity and suffocation. There was no ventilation at all.

Customer service was horrible. No greeting, did not provide wifi password when checked in, I asked for pair of cutlery and was told to ask from restaurant yourself - we do not have any. Room was just ok..smelled like someone smoked inside..wash basin had cracks..says breakfast included but all you get is just bread and croissants..it extra $8 plus tax for eggs and hash brown. I ordered egg plate and got a white hair in it. Waste of money. Never going back

I did not enjoy my stay here! I didn’t feel welcomed at all. It felt as if I was begging them for my entire stay! The property is really old and not well maintained. My room was dirty, some of the lights weren’t working and staff were not really helpful. I asked a kitchen staff for a plate so I could reheat my leftovers in my room and they sent me to the front desk person. Went to front desk and they sent me back to the person in the kitchen then they sent me back to front desk again. I work in the hospitality industry myself and have travelled to other countries. So far, my stay at this property (Monte Carlo) has been the worse! Definitely would not recommend! The “free” breakfast was basically pastries, cereal, bread and juices that tasted old and dirty (maybe it was the juice containers)… but yeah… absolutely do not recommend!

Staff were amazing and the room was very clean. Hot tub was relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.

When I arrived, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled because a credit card had not been provided. However, before my arrival, I had both called and sent a message confirming that I would be bringing a credit card and would pay with it at check-in. It appears there was a lack of communication between the booking agent and the hotel, as they did not have the same information. Had the hotel been fully booked that day, my room could have been given to someone else without any notice to me. Fortunately, the room had not yet been sold, so despite the cancellation, I was ultimately able to check in and receive my room. What disappointed me most was the way the situation was handled. Instead of acknowledging that the cancellation resulted from a communication failure, I was made to feel as though the hotel was doing me a favor by giving me the room. In reality, I was simply receiving the accommodation I had already reserved and was entitled to. The experience caused unnecessary stress and left me feeling that my reservation and my time were not respected. I also recommend accepting cash or debit card deposits as an alternative to credit cards. Many hotels, including those in downtown Toronto, already offer this option. Allowing reasonable cash or debit deposits would make the check-in process more accessible and convenient for guests who do not have a credit card.

I had a great experience. The staff were very polite and helpful.

Not really clean tv was not working ,bath tub handle was broken .

Breakfast is pretty sad. You are really encouraged to buy a meal from the restaurant.

Room was clean and quiet. I got the sleep I needed since I had no place to live yet. And got to shower a few times. Staff were always their to answer any questions I had. I would come back if I needed to.

This property was really cute inside. Very clean very fresh. The rooms are lovely beds are comfortable. It’s definitely showing its age though. While beautiful, when you take a long look you see some age (cracked sink, scratched wallpaper, etc) none of this affects the comfort or cleanliness of the place and the staff are truly the gem of this place. Kind and courteous
