There was a man passed out in the front lawn. Water pressure was terrible. Beds were comfortable.

The check-in staff was friendly. The cable signal was weak so TV was spotty. Worse, the doorknob had to be coaxed to open. Worst of all, the toilet ran all night the stopped flushing at all. I had to wait a long time (7 minutes) for someone (young man) to come to desk- he was sorry, he was on a call. So that was frustrating

The hotel was very dated. Furniture in the lobby and eating area worn and soiled. I mentioned to the front desk that my bathtub was clogged after Thursday check-in. Our tub was still clogged after a three day stay. My family had to take showers with water over their ankles for 3 days. Breakfast was horrible hard scrambled eggs every day and broken equipment. Will never stay here again

On a positive note, the bed was super comfortable and had lots of soft pillows which we like. Breakfast was good and the indoor pool looked small but nice (we didn’t use it). The negatives: The first room with a king bed smelled horrible like stinky socks! We asked for another room but were told they only had a room with 2 queens so we had no choice. The second room smelled better on the plus side. We stayed there for 3 nights coming for a funeral. We checked in late the first night so I put the do not disturb sign on the door the next morning. When we left the room early the 2nd morning I removed the sign. That night when we returned, the room had not been cleaned. I called the desk to find out why and was told cleaning is only done every other day. We were not notified of this when we checked in. I asked if someone could come empty my trash and provide clean towels and was told no as the housekeeping staff was gone and they would come the next day and I said we were leaving in the morning. So, we had no clean towels, overflowing trash and we were literally down to our last square of toilet paper. We had to get up at 3:30am for our flight home and at 10:00pm the fire alarm for the hotel went off. It was ear piercing in our room. We went into the hallway meeting up with several other guests in pajamas. After we went downstairs, the front desk told us someone burned something in their room but all was okay now. Just an overall bad experience.

You can tell this place gets hit by the humidity in the midwest. They should rip out the carpets and put in composite wood flooring. The carpets smell musty due to the humidity and it seriously smelled like a gym locker in our bedroom. The staff, however, couldn't have been friendlier -- they were the highlight of the place. Otherwise, meh at best.

Staff is friendly. Hallways seems smelly. Wifi did not work. Breakfast is ok.

Front desk service is non existent. Couldn’t get anyone to check in or check out. Very frustrating. Front desk customer service is the first most important thing you see when you enter. They made it clear that customer service isn’t important
