Hard to get ahold of the front desk when needed something. Restaurant had a lot of wait time before seated seemed short staffed.

Great property

The rooms were not clean. The glassware was dirty when we arrived. Same with the pillows they had grease stains on them. The bathroom was not cleaned well. Over all the property felt very run down. The location was probably the better part about it because you could walk most places. The staff was very pushy on over charges as well I had to tell them 3 times we did not have a vehicle to park there which they attempted to charge $45 per day. Would not recommend for the price it was definitely not worth it.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was clean. No parkade parking for trucks/suvs but lots of available above ground parking for $45 a night. The restaurant patio has beautiful views 😍

Everyone was so friendly and professional and my room was incredibly clean with modern amenities- only thing missing was a microwave in my room!

We were in town for a festival one weekend and the hotel and staff were great. We got a river view room as requested and it was clean and modern. Location just on the outside of the downtown core was preferred and it was also convenient for Uber pickups and drop offs. Staff were friendly and very helpful and answered any questions we had. $24 breakfast buffet was OK considering food is just pricey everywhere. Not worth it for my teen, though. Didn’t visit the restaurant otherwise. I had heard a lot about the sketchiness of downtown and I get it, but I’m also from a big city and had no problem walking to a few shops and Starbucks during the day. We used Uber for the rest of our ventures through downtown and at night as we were only there a few nights.

Massive room and good location. Was somewhat disappointed to have to pay over $40 to park overnight. The basic parking price was the same as valet, which was kind of ironic.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The views of the river were amazing from our room. The only issue we had was with wifi, it didn’t really work and there was an extra charge to upgrade to working wifi.

The room was seriously tiny. Staff was not very friendly. Not rude but I never saw anyone crack a smile. Parking is convenient.

Bathroom had a dirty towel stuffed between the shower curtain. They gave my original room away that I had reserved. The tv didn’t work the first night, had to be moved to another room. Definitely will not be staying at the courtyard Marriott downtown again.

It was okay not spectacular a clean place to rest your head if visiting downtown Edmonton . The breakfast needs some improvement

Excellent gym that was well stocked with everything I needed for my morning workout routine. Love the upgraded showers in the room.

The bed was sunken in the middle in room 422. And parking was 45 a day.

The queen bed closest to the window has issues. It needs replacing. It was either the box spring or frame that was an issue. It wasn’t supporting the mattress. Totally lop sided bed and super uncomfortable. They need to replace the bed. Also got a wif of pee smell from that bed as well. We have stayed at this hotel before and it was good. They just need to fix these couple things and this room would be fine.

Unexpected fees, like $45 to park, wifi was $5 a day if you wanted to use it, there was 2 bottles of Aquafina water in the room but if you drank them it was $3 a bottle. A/C didn’t work that well and was loud when it kicked in, bed was also on the hard side. I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.
