Restaurant service was horrible. Guys needs an attitude check

Completely exceeded my expectations! The resort is aesthetically beautiful, the suite must have been a silent upgrade because it was larger than i had reserved and so nice. That bed was incredible! We had two porches with outdoor furniture and a direcr view of pools and rhe ocean. All the staff, except one, were spectacularly koms, friendly and very supporrive and caring of my friend who is elderly and disabled. It felt like we were leving family behind when we left after only 7 days.

Great room with a view. Staff were great, our room was cleaned daily. The only negative comment is that there is an agent right when you check in who wants you to sign up for a timeshare presentation which we are not interested in.

Wonderful experience. Bathroom had some ants but nothing to complain. Great staff and service.

This is a low-key low energy resort compared to others we have gone to. We were there the last week january2026. The place is clean, the staff are nice. The breakfast was good. we had dinner there once 3/5. the pizza and sushi stations were never open and the upper restaurant never had more than 1 table of people there. It is a great location, lovely people. A solid 3 star resort with great service.(older, less expensive, good value for $)

El personal muy amable, las habitaciones están en muy buenas condiciones aunque no son nuevas.

We loved *almost* everything about the resort, the staff, and the room. The lost star is for plugged drains in one bathroom, which we notified the front desk about, but which was never fixed.

Very clear room and grounds. Well kept. Bed was very comfortable.

Está súper viejito el hotel. Lo que sí es que está limpio.

Could always find a spot at the pool 👍

Concierge and cleaning staf

Bedroom and Bathroom smelled like feces - could not sleep in the bed because it smelled so bad in that room. Had to replace key card over 10 times in a 3 night stay resulting in countless trips to the main office where the staff was unhelpful and condescending. Got locked out of my room countless times because of this even after staff had promised to send a maintenance man to fix the door (who never came). Breakfast was overpriced and the food was poor quality for the price we paid. Only positives: room had a nice view of the ocean and the hot tub was nice. I would not recommend this hotel to any friends.

The staff were tremendous. Our room was cleaned spotlessly every day. The bellboys were very courteous and helpful as were the waiters. Room was terrific with a marvelous view. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I had a short stay, but overall, it was great! I want to thank Elena (from Taxco) for the warm welcome and smooth check in! I was also pleasantly surprised to find out I was upgraded to a bigger room for booking with Expedia. Best part was being able to watch the sunset from the beach, right off Solmar. The beach isn't swimmable but there are two pools - one that's quiet and less crowded and one with a pool bar and loud music. Perfect to lounge, depending on your mood. The hot tub didn't work properly the last night I was there, but at least the water stayed somewhat hot. Would stay again!
