We stayed at Dom Pedro Madeira during our visit to the island and overall enjoyed it. The location isn’t the most central, so renting a car is definitely helpful. On the days we didn’t have one, we used tour services to get around. Since the hotel isn’t directly in the main hub, some pickups charge a small additional fee (around €25), which isn’t huge but worth noting. The breakfast was good not ultra-luxury level, but solid and satisfying. The room didn’t look exactly like the photos online, which was slightly disappointing. However, the staff were very kind and helpful, and the price reflected good value for what we received. We could still see the island views from the property, and overall it was a pleasant stay. Madeira itself is absolutely worth visiting.

Kleines Zimmer in der 9. Etage ( es gibt 10 ) mit Blick auf den Strand. Parkplätze sind am Hotel bzw. in unmittelbarer Nähe zu finden. Man ist in wenigen Minuten am Wasser. Frühstücksbuffet war gut- Restaurant mit Meerblick

Jag har haft en väldigt fin vistelse här. Personalen är underbar, hjälpsam och alltid trevlig. Man känner sig verkligen välkommen från första stund. Rummet är rent och välstädat, med allt man behöver för en bekväm vistelse. Läget är också perfekt – nära havet och med en lugn och avkopplande atmosfär. Jag kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell och skulle gärna bo här igen.

One of the two elevators was broken the entire stay, all 7 nights, and the elevator that did work was insanely slow. We waited up to 10 minutes to take it one way, so staying at the top floor and going down for breakfast and up again was a hassle. Also the wifi was down for several days which when you are traveling internationally is not want you want, it's your contact to your home country.

Le menu du déjeuner était frais et très bon, la vue du balcon était belle et l'hôtel était bien situé. Par contre, l'insonorisation est médiocre.

Immaculate, peaceful with welcoming and helpful staff. Our room had a great view and I liked the design of the hotel so it was a lovely place to be, and cleverly placed at the side of a bay and also easily and quickly accessible by car. Big thank you to everyone for making our stay so lovely

Nice view from the room even without balcony. Pleasant reception. Rooms near stairwells are exposed to noise and music from entertainment. No porridge at breakfast. Excellent location at the end of the beach. Pool was not clean probably because low attendance? Convenient to airport.

Breakfast and the location was excellent. Rooms however were outdated and our AC was broken. We complained a few times yet no solution was provided. Overall, it’s an average experience based on the location proximity to the beach and the shops but would not come again.
