The good: Excellent and convenient location, easy to get around to all the main areas. Lovely service from Chiara and Annabelle. Not so good: Shower leaked everyday as drain was blocked, Air con only goes as low as 20degrees, which during the summer isn’t ideal. I woke up warm and uncomfortable at night. Bedding - pillow and mattress (sunk in) weren’t comfortable. Never woken up with a back ache previously. First time ever. Insects in room (bed and toilet) on checking in. Gross. Thin door could hear everything at 2am or 6am.

The room was clean, the breakfast was great and well worth the price, and the staff were very helpful.

This is a nice hotel in a good location in Florence. Walking distance from most places we wanted to see. Very close walk to the river and to Ponte Vecchio. Also convenient to allow us to walk around the other side of the river. This hotel is very close to all the shopping and a close walk to the main piazza. Hotel is walkable from the train station with luggage - about 10mins. We did not try the breakfast here. Airconditioning was ok - did the job. Note that there are stairs to get up to the first level where there is a lift, however the staff are extremely helpful and will bring up your luggage for you on arrival (and departure). Rooms were clean.

Location was perfect, very near everything. The room was very clean, staff were always helpful.

The air conditioning was set with a lower limit, but they easily modified it on their computer upon our request. They breakfast is totally worth the additional expense!!!

Starting with the positives: The location was really good. The people were very kind and helpful with suggestions. The room size was decent. The morning breakfast was good as well. Now the not-so-positives: There is no elevator access for the ground floor. So, at the end of a long day when you’ve logged in 20k steps already, climbing a couple dozen more steps hurts more than it would otherwise. Also, we were there in the middle of the heat wave so even though they had AC in the rooms, they controlled the temperature and the fan speed of the AC. On request, the reduced the temp a bit for our room (but the fan speed was still at 1). That was definitely not enough. So, every night we were there, I woke up sweating in the middle of the night. If you are not visiting during the hot months (we were there last week of May), lack of powerful AC will be a non issue.

Staff

Incredible location in central Florence. Located directly above the very first Gucci store in all of Italy it is surrounded by high end shops, museums, and a multitude of restaurants. It is only a short walk to every desirable destination. The rooms are beautiful, extremely comfortable, and clean. The staff are superb. Extremely professional and friendly. The breakfast was high quality and well worth it as an add on. We absolutely loved our stay here and highly recommend the Isabella if you’re ever in Florence.

The hotel was just lovely. The entire staff was wonderful to work with, the room was large and comfortable. And the decor was so chic. It was in a great location. The only downside were the 25 stairs to get into the property. If you have mobility issues that could hinder your stay. Also there is not a lot of bathroom storage. But please know the staff is so attentive and brought our bags up and down for us. We loved it there!

Family friendly and amazing location

The hotel is amazing and super comfortable! Property is super clean and staff also always polite and helpful. Alessandra gave us great recommendations on places to go and eat. The only inconvenience at the hotel is that we have to climb stairs to get to ground floor, and than reach the elevator to the rooms.

Tho is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in- the staff were lovely, the breakfast was fantastic, beds comfortable, and the location could not have been better. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence.

No mention of four flights of stairs to get to elevator. However, I do like sound proof windows.

This is our fourth stay at this hotel and it has always been consistently lovely. Wonderful staff, rooms, location - we couldn't have asked for more.

Hotel não é acessível definitivamente. Apos um lance de escada íngreme, existe um pequeno mas pequeno elevador que cabem 2 pessoas. Banheiros pequenos. Lical do chuveiro é ridículo. A única boa situação é sua localização. Mas pelo valor pago podemos encontrar hotéis melhores.

We had a lovely stay. Great location. The staff was fantastic--every person we dealt with was exceptionally helpful, courteous, and kind. The shower was small and the water temperature was a bit difficult to control, but everything was clean and nice. It may be worth noting that we experienced quite a bit of street noise (revelers) each night, so don't plan to sleep with the windows open.
