Excellent customer service, very corteous and professional staff. The only con is that you can hear every sound made in rooms and aisles, would be a perfect place with sound proofing.

Good hotel overall and it serves its purpose.The front desk staff needs some training in hospitality as they are abrasive, dry and do not foster an inviting atmosphere!

Okay, the room was dingy, walls needed washed down or repainted. The vents in the bathroom caked in thick dust, didn’t even want to consider sitting on the couch in our room, or the desk chair. The bathroom was clean and bedding was good. Just needs a good overall cleaning, light switches were dirty.. etc

A lot of trash on the outside of the building. Blood on the floor of the bathroom and the floor boards in the room above sounded like a construction crew as the occupants walked around above.

Ich habe zwei Nächte im Wingate by Wyndham Schaumburg verbracht und war insgesamt zufrieden. Für etwas über 100 Euro für zwei Nächte in der Nähe von Chicago war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich in Ordnung. Das Hotel liegt ruhig in Schaumburg, allerdings etwa 45–50 Minuten Fahrt vom Stadtzentrum entfernt – zur „Cloud Gate“ (The Bean) habe ich für das Parken dort stolze 53 Dollar bezahlt. Das Zimmer war sauber und angenehm, das Personal freundlich. Leider gab es keine klassischen Amenities wie Shampoo, Lotion oder Duschhaube, was man bei einem Kettenhotel eigentlich erwarten würde. Ein kleines Manko waren auch die etwas hellhörigen Wände bzw. Decken – ich habe abends deutlich gehört, wie jemand über mir im Zimmer herumlief. Insgesamt: Wer eine ruhige und preiswerte Übernachtung außerhalb von Chicago sucht und kein Problem mit etwas Fahrzeit hat, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Für einen direkten City-Trip würde ich aber beim nächsten Mal zentraler wohnen.
