Everything was outstanding in terms of facilities. The room was comfortable, warm and fantastic. The pool area was brilliant. The big let down for us was the staff. The reception staff were outstanding. The restaurant staff were extremely poor. No care or attention. The spa staff were rude and uncaring.

Great trip. Excelle t wedding venue. Staff excellent. Bar prices a bit high and i think the air con could do with being turned down.

We stayed with our 4 year old son, when we got to the room there was a small rob, slippers, travel set of shampoo etc along with juice and a couple of extra treats for him. It was a really nice touch! The room was plenty big enough for the three of us. Breakfast was great. Only thing I would say is that parking is fairly expensive and the extra fee to use the pool is disappointing. Other than that it was a great stay

Amazing stay for the wifes birthday - spa is really good we go to a lot of spa breaks but this is up there with the bedt food was excellent and really loved the outdoor terrace area for a drink.- a massive thanks to Skye on reception who gave us a warm yorkshire welcome and made sure our stay was the best.

We stayed here for two nights whilst attending an event locally and it was excellent, we particularly liked the availability of fresh milk and cold water at the end of the corridor. We also ate in the restaurant on two evenings and the food was delicious. Would definitely stay there again!

Got no sleep. Guests in and out of rooms, talking on the corridor, shouting in rooms.

This was such a wonderful stay. The staff were most welcoming and accommodating. Absolutely loved the room and the entire visit. Cannot recommend enough!

Dont like the fact they charge extra for gym and parking withiut making it clear at the point of booking. If you are paying over £100 per night specifically.for a hotel with a gym, you dont expect the staff to slap and extra £15 on the bill to use it!! There are many options in the area which me and my colleagues will use instead.

Overall comfortable, Breakfast was good, Spa was ok , the jacuzzi was out of order. The food & drinks were not great in the restaurant. should shandy be fizzy? Mine was flat , when I pointed it out and it was taken away I was told bitter is flat! The bitter Also looked more like larger in colour pale, I was charged for the one taken away. Coffee machine didn’t work, got a replacement quickly, The room was comfortable, The spa treatment amazing. I would go again but not eat in the restaurant.

Stayed at this hotel before. Hotel is nice, staff is friendly and helpful. Spa is great. What I'm disappointed at is even though I was able to get better offer through hotels.com, at the end I paid more. As if you book directly with hotel, you get free parking and free spa entry included in room rate. Booking through hotels.com, you have to pay for both on top of room rate. Also, hotels.com guest get the room with not the best view and location.

Great hotel and very nice. However I wasn’t aware when booking that use of the gym and spa facilities would be an extra £15 along with £12 for 24 hours parking. That’s the only thing for me that let it down. Other than that, great stay.
