Internet was intermittent; I had to keep restarting my tablet but my phone had no issues. Breakfast was good since it was cooked to order. The early bird dish was well done and filling. Note that they charge you if you bring a thermos or water bottle to fill with their coffee. The bed was super tall ( one foot high mattress and one foot high box spring on 6 inch platform.) the width is more double than queen and the length would be too short for av6 foot person. Overall the bed dimensions were disproportionate. A tall person can climb onto the bed easily but their feet would be dangling over the edges. The shower stall had no door, just a curtain. the shower curtain barely touched the shower base so the bathroom floor got wet after we showered. Thank goodness we were staying only one night. The gym equipment looked very ancient and belonged in a museum. We didn’t dare use them. The fitness center smelled rusty despite a floor fan being on around the clock.

Staff was very friendly.The gift shop and their breakfast is amazing.Everything was great.I really enjoyed my stay and we'll be back next year

Motel classique, bien entretenu. Sur le bord de la route principale donc bruyant. Chambre spacieuse, équipée d’un frigo et d’un micro onde. Petit déjeuner avec plats à choisir. Pas de nourriture en libre service. Café (americain) dans des Thermos. Accueil du Personnel très moyen.

Just ok, dated, old-motel smell, limited breakfast choices. Staff were very friendly. Loved the free use of snow discs for use on the White Sands dunes.

Great hotel for the price. The breakfast menu was good and the service was quick. The bed was not as comfortable as I expected, but it was sufficient. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was a good value for the money. Don't expect to of the line windows or appliances. The breakfast was good and the service was great. We stayed here two nights and had no real major issues.

What you would expect of a cheap motel, though it was slightly more than I thought it should be priced. A/C questionable, bed a little rough. Breakfast not great.

The top was super clean. They had even arranged the hangers sideways to form an artsy pattern. Lots of work has gone into giving this hotel a southwest feel. The staff was excellent. The night clerk, John, who welcomed us, was especially helpful. Breakfast was delicious- the chile sauce on the White Sands Bowl especially so.

Okay...would update a/c fan.whooshing off/on all night wakes you up..otherwise fine

The staff here were all super nice. We left too early each morning to be able to try breakfast. There’s not a lot in the area so I didn’t have super high expectations. The bed was comfortable and the AC and fridge/freezer worked, which are the main things for us. The rooms definitely need some renovating. The bathtub was cracking and painted over, no ventilation in the bathroom, and the floors were pretty dirty in each room.

The guy checking me in was very nice. The room was recently renovated. Very nice and quiet.

This is a nicely renovated old style motel - very well done. Nothing fancy just clean, quiet, comfortable, great decorating. The free breakfast is wonderful for a hotel - real food. Loved the breakfast burrito.

It was clean and quiet. A complete breakfast was included (with meat). It was the best hotel breakfast on our ten day road trip. Check in was fast and access to the room was easy. We appreciated a fast in and out, no hassle experience at a reasonable price. We like the old school privately owned hotels that are well kept like Desert Aire. Back up to the door and haul your junk straight into the room. No dragging coolers through lobbies and elevators and hallways. After all, we didn't fly half way across the country to waste time looking at hotels, did we? I would have given five stars except for one thing. The air conditioning unit in our room made a particularly unpleasant and random whooshing noise that disturbed everyone's sleep. The staff seemed honestly concerned when I reported it the next morning and I believe that it will be addressed and that other rooms would not have this same issue. Still, a poor night's sleep is a poor night's sleep. We didn't really hear it until everyone was settled, and then, unfortunately, it became the only thing anyone could hear.

WiFi didn’t work at all. I called the office twice and they never got back to me. Curtains wouldn’t close all the way. My bare feet turned black from the floor.
