Unfriendly Staff that acted inconvenienced anytime we asked for anything. Service was insanely slow. We booked privilege level and at our very first restaurant we were told told that some drinks had an up charge. Several bars we were at told us they wouldn’t give us upgraded alcohol even though it was sitting right there. Our A/C didn’t work well or keep the room very cool. One of the legs on one bed was completely broke off.

The place was amazing we had the best beach out of all the resorts around. their mexican restaurant was great, however the rest were average.

I cannot say enough good to describe Ocean Maya Royale! It is way over the top and deserves a perfect score! Definately a 5 Star Resort! We felt welcomed before we arrived! We had many questions which were promptly answered on emails back and forth and in fact I felt almost embarrassed for asking so many questions however I was reassured each time that they were there to answer anything I asked. Thank you so much! Right away we knew this was the place for us to celebrate a family vacation for my husband's 70th birthday!! We are frequent travelers and have been to many different countries on cruises, land trips, all inclusives, etc but the Ocean Maya will resonate in our memories for years to come and exceeds any cruise or all inclusive we have ever taken. We raved about this so much to our friends after the trip that they now want to go too,especially after seeing all our pictures and hearing about our experiences. Even the YouTube videos of Ocean Maya doesn't do it justice...its even better!!! Wow!!! We were welcomed as soon as we arrived. We checked in immediately and they answered all our questions and staff took us to our room. Upon entering our room we were surprised to find a birthday cake for my husband and rose petals, towels, robes and slippers. The mini bar is filled daily with 2 beer, pop and water. The restaurants, entetainment, pools, bars, activities are awesome! You will never be bored! A special sound out to Kenndell for making this trip so memorable!

Was difficult to get dinner reservations

Propre, tranquille, personnel toujours présent pour aider. Jardins bien entretenus. Excellent service. Je le recommanderais assurément.

This was our 6th visit to OMR, we absolutely love the staff they are amazing. The amount of staff who remember us by name is incredible, with the amount of people that they meet daily i don't know how they do it. My only complaint is that when people complain about something, such as the entertainment staff announcing the games around the pool, management changes things so they are now without a microphone to announce things and you can't hear. My advice to everyone is enjoy your vacation. If you don't like the resort you have visited don't go back, don't try and change it to what you like because the rest of us return because we like the way things are run. We can't wait for our next visit. MANAGEMENT...stop changing for the select few, those of us who keep returning love OMR just the way it is!

Excellent property in Riveria Maya. This was my second visit and it was as good as the first. Entertainment staff were great, as was the service staff.

Girls trip to property, and they did not disappoint! Kenddall and entertainment staff were incredible, fun, and kind! Francesco, the bar tender was wonderful and always had a smile on his face! Food was delicious! Amazing resort! We look forward to coming back!!

Phenomenal service, the staff was amazing and the whole resort was an incredible experience. Would recommend to anyone and would love to return soon!

Staff, food & drinks and activities were excellent. Beach access was very nice too, although quite a lot of seaweed (not the fault of the resort, just time of year). Would definitely go back :)

Half of the staff was not very happy ,wouldn’t even say good morning,or even look at us The others (bartender)waitress and a few waiter seem to care (smile) and made my trip enjoyable! I will send you name of staff you should be proud of ! And made me feel special!

This is the second time we've stayed at Ocean Maya and we would go back again. The food is delicious, the drinks are good and rooms are comfortable. A perfect getaway!

We had a great time. The resort was one of the smaller resorts. Ias a result it was very personable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were lots of dining options including a sports bar. The pools were clean and quiet. The beach was amazing. It was close to many other recreational activities if wanted. The resort was very easy to get around. The rooms were very spacious. The bed very comfortable. If I was going back to that area I would chose this resort again.

The accept to the beach was great. Most of the staff was really cool minus the lady who promised our transportation money back if we did the time share pitch. Money back didn't happen. If they had a shuttle bus to and from the airport, it would've been fantastic. Overall the place was nice, clean, food was decent, and most of the staff was pretty cool.

Loved the fact that they have a microwave because I’m all about hot food! Pool bar was fabulous! Kendall is a national treasure! Protect him at all cost.
