Very clean homly very close to all amenities

Reception staff are excellent. After that it’s downhill. Food is terrible! Not fresh, highly processed and dining area has school canteen vibes. The cleaner would enter our apartment early morning (often before 9am) and ignore requests that we did not want to be disturbed. And her cleaning skills are lacking at the best of times. Entire place needs attention. Two others had lots of cockroaches in their apartments but we were lucky to avoid unwanted guests.

Positives - playa chica is a charming no frills beach, with a sheltered bay for swimming and the old town has lots of lovely bars and restaurants overlooking the harbour. Hotel Bellview Aquarius is a very old , way past its sell by date hotel . We paid extra for an adequate breakfast at a very good price. Most of what you want from a breakfast was there for very little money. It’s a positive. Now for the negatives - the apartment is extremely dated, has rattley windows and doors that needed a piece of paper to quieten from the strong winds this area has. We had heavy rain one night and our bedroom window leaked so much the whole bedroom floor was totally soaked, including any bedding that been over the edge of the beds . The kitchen is very basic, I take more with me when I go camping, and our electric hob gave off electric shocks when on. Many of the sockets didn’t work, the hot water was very limited, the bath is there, but not enough water to fill even half fill it. Many tiles in the bathroom were cracked, dirty repairs everywhere . Rusty plate rack above the sink storing plates .We managed to swap for a high room to get a nice view ( credit where it’s due), but beware- many rooms do not have a view and it’s definitely not for the weak knee people amongst us, lots of steps. Our second room was very slightly better, so there is some variation in quality I guess? There is currently some building work going on right opposite , and several closed down shops nearby.

Room adequate + Staff always helpful and courteous

It was clean but really needed an update needed more plug sockets couldn't use kettle and microwave at the same time. Short of utensils not even a decent small knife no mugs only small cups. No instructions on how to use the oven

Cleaning was done nearly everyday if I needed staff were nice never ate the restaurant and never drank at the bar but overall I was happy.

Overpriced, dirty, worn, outdated, POOR, Disappointed to say the least, Broken furniture, black mould on bathroom ceiling, fittings hanging off wall with stained dirt behind, floor stained, paintwork peeling all rooms off walls and woodwork / furniture, did not unpack cases as wardrobes dirty and felt sticky, no shelves in fridge door and thermostat faulty so froze the water milk and yoghurts, but saying that could not eat in the apartment due to dirt, dining table formika split so unhygenic and kettle had to be on table as no plug sockets in the kitchen worktop area, Pool area floors repaired with rough cement and paint which actually helped to make it non slip where the puddles were, looks like a 50 year old timeshare. TV in room, but remote available for 40 euros a week, but only BBC in english, pay extra for safe box. Suppose you have guessed, WILL NOT be going there again.

La piscina, sin baldosas en la página web, ponía una piscina limpia con baldosas y todo llegamos al Hotel y hay larvas de mosca por toda la piscina por la noche, hay patos dentro de la piscina, las baldosas con moo y el agua no olía ni a cloro no nos metimos ni un día. Además en la habitación no nos cambiaron las sábanas. Tenías que ir detrás de las de la limpieza para que te las cambien el secador de pelo funcionaba dos minutos contados y se apagaba se sobrecalentaba la ducha, el agua iba los mínimo posible, la presión y además el agua salía fría no recomiendo para nada ir a este Hotel te proponen unas cosas y llegas y hay otras muy diferentes

Accommodation satisfactory, clean. Only downside of the apartments complex Is all the stairs….. not recommended for disability or elderly who struggle with stairs and especially a lot of them.

What to say about the BV Aquarius. On first arrival we were less than impressed. The complex is large. There are many steps, no lifts, no ramps. Impossible for anyone with mobility issues to navigate. Our room was a 1 bedroom apartment with a mattress set on top of a sofa in the lounge as a 3rd bed. This seriously impaired the space in the living area. The apartment furniture was basic to say the least and to be honest the whole apartment just lacked TLC. On a positive note the staff throughout the complex were excellent. Everyone was helpful. Maid service was daily excluding Wednesday and 3 changes of towels and once of bedding in 7 days was very welcome. The bar is excellent. Food is good and cheap but very tasty. Drinks are reasonably priced. The biggest issue however is the pool area. It’s huge with a massive terrace with lots of sunbeds. However the pool has lots of missing tiles on the pool sides and base. There is an area that is crumbling at the side of the pool and this was never swept up or cordoned off during our stay. Kids are there and there could easily be nasty accidents. Health and Safety would have a field day Back to the positives. The apartments are 2 minutes from the lovely harbour area. Lots of places to eat and bars. It’s a good 15 minute stroll to the Strip in PDC I’ve tried to give an honest review here. I honestly think with a spruce up this could be a fantastic resort. As is, we would not return. Sorry

Great view, I’ve stayed here a few times now on the last 17 years and the place is slowly falling apart. Such a shame as the location is great! Word of warning the place is now a weed den. People smoking weed all day and night at the property. Not a great experience. If that’s your type of holiday - go for it !

Great place to stay for Porter del Carmen old town and harbour. Accommodation is great value for money as a whilst the food in the restaurant was limited choice, it was fairly good for all inclusive buffet. We enjoyed our stay here but was mainly a base for us. Be warned that the property is on s hill with lots of steps so if you have mobility issues then this isn't the property for you. Otherwise give it a go, it's good value for money and plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The main resort strip is about 15 minute walk.

Great staff and good value for the price we paid. Room dated but clean, dining options limited for all Inclusive guests.

Chambre vétuste, toilette cassée, pommeau de douche ou raiseau sans pression sur eau chaude, tringle a rideaux qui se decroche ... Heureusement que le personnel est reactif pour resoudre les problèmes qui peuvent etre resolu pour le reste une bonne remise en etat s'impose. Restauration peut variés mais reste correct avec du personnel de salle tres serviable. J’espère que ces petits commentaires seront pris en considération par l'établissement.

A great base for spending your holiday in Lanzarote, just minutes walk from a great selection of restaurants and bars in the old town and along the harbour, you also have the option to dine in the Belleview as all inclusive or pay as you dine on a casual basis. Staff were very pleasant and helpful to deal with.

All great.Only one thing I contacted property before I got there that my sister will stay with me for 4 nights and days and they charged me for a whole week…Even I have paid for entire apartment before hand…A bit not nice…

Turned up early, the receptionist advised for us to have lunch, then he found us and said room ready. Two hours early. Room was a little dated, but clean. There are many steps. Food was basic, some was good. Others were cold, advised but nothing done about it. Cold next day. There was a microwave to heat it up though. So many of the dishes were full of bell peppers. No need for so many. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again but not all inclusive.

Frukosten var prisvärd och innehöll det mesta man behöver, t ex frukt, yoghurt, flingor, varmrätter mm Stor bassäng, trevlig personal vi fick bra valuta för pengarna
