Didn't like first in for parking

Beautiful location and the rooms were fun. Decor was brilliant.

While unit was comfortable we were expecting cooking facilities. The cost of dining was we feel on the expensive side so consequently we dined out

Wry easy hotel to find and convent for facilities

Due to flight disruptions we arrived late and had to leave early the next morning so we didn’t get to use most of the facilities. Staff were very helpful with us arriving late and the room was very well appointed. The only negative for us was that it was fully booked when we tried to stay the next time. I would stay here again.

Tide Hotels knows how to do hospitality! Right from when I arrived I was welcomed as if I had been a guest many times before. Room service and restaurant service was friendly, meals were of good portion size and tasty. The room is well appointed with a comfortable bed and deck overlooking the river (if you choose this option). Shower has good water pressure and the bath salts provided are really nice. Would 10/10 stay again

Loved this hotel, fresh and vibrant with a lovely chilled atmosphere. Staff were excellent. Lovely hotel rooms. The best hotel we've stayed in so far in New Zealand.

The room pictures on Expedia showed nice views of the river front. What we got was a room next to the parking lot. There were cars parked right in front of the room. And there was a miserable table with 2 chairs in front of the rooms next to the cars. I feel there was a lot of mis-representation going on. I couldn’t sleep at night because there were people sitting in front of the room late into the night chit chatting and laughing. We could hear every word. Also, the same for the room next door. We could follow their conversation happily. Never again. Terrible room, terrible hotel. If they try to give you a room that is 40, 41 or 42, say no.

Property is a little dated/quirky, and walls are thin. Other than that enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfortable, easy to walk into town.

Excellent hotel. Has laundry facilities. The staff were extremely helpful with excursions. Not enough parking if you have your own car.

The Tides Hotel was in a great location. So close to walking to town. Our room was comfortable and clean. We did have a river view but unfortunately with the tide being out, we didn't get to see that.

The restaurant and staff were absolutely fantastic. The room itself was clean, tidy and comfortable. Great for a one night stay. The room we had was quite small and a bit on the high side in price for what it was.

Quirky artwork throughout hotel was a joy. Indoor and outdoor dining areas were excellent and food was good. Our king executive room was very comfortable. The spa shower and good quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash were an unexpected treat and greatly appreciated. Fresh air from door to balcony was appreciated. Great location for all Nelson CBD has to offer.
