The worst expirience, my wife get food poisoning, I order scramble eggs and it came with a hair inside. Most of the people sound eveything except get you what you need. Never go back there.

Las instalaciones del hotel son excelentes, siempre limpias, el único detalle es la atencion por parte del personal, siempre parecia que estaban de malas, te hacian mala cara cuando les solicitabas o preguntabas por algo, es la unica observacion que nosotros hariamos respecto a nuestra estancia.

Viva Palace is beside Viva Beach hotel so that you can walk the charming treed walkway between the two properties. Both sites have nightly entertainment - singers, dancing and theatre from 8 to midnight with s disco after hours. International clientele and lots of young families. All sorts of shaded and sunny beach sites. Finally beach is located in a calm bay so lots of ppl in the water all day long.

The property was gorgeous and lots to do and animations for the kids. We all had a great time. The Santa coming on a boat to the resort and handing gifts to every single children was a nice touch. Friendly staff and all multilingual. Not pushy like other timeshare resorts.

Le côté Beach est bien plus animé que le côté Palace qui n’en a que le nom.Le buffet s’est dégradé au fil de la semaine . Par contre,le site est beau et l’accesxà tous les restaurants est un plus même si les repas sont très moyens .

Cucarachas in the room. They gave us twin beds. We did not want. They did not change us. Very bad

This is my third time visiting but I notice a radical change with the customer service. Manager is none existent. The manage even ignore the Experian agent that called to resolve the issue. The service in the restaurant is a hit or missed. You might get very attentive service but you might also get those that will let the plates pile up on the table and ignore you completely.

I liked the beach but the customer service at this property is terrible. Third party agencies should intervine on behald of customers. I have been to viva 3 times and this will be my last unless things change.

Service is terrible. If you are allergic to bees dont book. Bees all over drinks, bars, beach, restaurants, etc. food quality in specially restaurants are below standards. Beverage are non existent. Wine taste like vinager, very short of alcoholic beverages. Funny that employees have preferences over clients during buffet hours. One time i have to wait for an omelette 30 minutes because i have three employees in the line in front of me, then no more eggs then wait for 15 minutes for the eggs to arrive. Everything is very disorganized. There is not leadership in the hotel. If You asked for a coffe, always no spoon, no napkins on the table. I will never come back. Total waste of money.

The hotel is a lot older than what the pictures show. There was no AC in my room, the bedding smelled like it was left in the washer, there were fleas on the bedding not ants fleas I had 2 on me. The food definitely not appealing at all I don’t recommend buffet. The restaurants are “always booked” so they won’t seat you although it’s empty we had to convince reservation team to give us what they could. The 2 restaurants we went to one was hot the AC was not on and the other portion size was less than 4 oz. The front desk girls were absolutely horrendous with attitude and the general manager would not come out to see me when I requested a new room. I asked for my money back to go else where and they denied my request no reason in particular. The barrooms had mold, toilet didn’t flush, shower faucet broke…. Our safe broke as well and took 2 hours to fix 5 people had to come and fix. I have not a single good thing to say about this resort I will not be returning and would never recommend this hotel. I will be taking this up with corp of Expedia. No person should sleep with fleas!!!!

Went last week of April, so some rain. Ocean was great, with great snorkling right off the shore. We saw a flounder, rays, pufferfish, lobsters, plus reef fish. Coral is growing but looks young. Loved the excursions with viva, they had tour guides that spoke multiple languages. Staff was friendly. Room was basic but the grounds were beautiful with ducks, birds, and igunanas. Food was adequate but lacked flavor. Yes I would go again.

Absolutely awful. We checked out early the following day. Two star hotel at best room was very dirty.

Very big and always something for everyone. I like the health drink option. We eat very healthy so nice to have that option

Amazing beach but property needs updating

staff super friendly, food was good (didn't get sick at all) the property was a little run down! or toilet was running and u had to push the handle up and sink was slow to drain. maids make ur bed everyday ours was so sweet leaving hearts and flowers and the beach was so warm and beautiful!!!n i didn't like the pressure of the people making you feel bad if you didnt do a tour with them.we did it because we felt bad for him and he was nice. they said 1 hour we were there 2.5 hours and they just pressure you to buy there.entetainment was awesome but vert late for adults. id go again
