The area is quiet and away from the busier area. The room was clean and has plenty of room.

Overall nice stay, wish one of the two windows would open. No AC. Quiet. Breakfast area very tiny and packed on our visit- but we grabbed little snack. Clean room. Bed was not comfortable at all, so we left early. It may be my only complaint.

Location is near downtown Monterey and airport. The room is spacious, clean, has ref and microwave, iron and hair dryer. It doesnt have airconditioner. Front desk said that most hotels do not habe air because its always cool in Monterey so she said that people just open the window and there is also fan in the room. This actually worked. It got chilly but we couldnt control the temp exactly. It was a hassle to turn the fan on and off or the window open in close ar different level. There is a heater with thermostat during the winter though. There is hot breakfast: sausage/eggs, bread/pastries, cereal, waffle maker, yogurt so it was filling. However, there were only a few tables. One morning there was a family with 8-10 kids and they took up almost all the table and chairs. Its 2 levels with no elevator. All and all happy with this hotel.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean and recently renovated, which made it feel fresh and modern. The room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable, and we really enjoyed the breakfast each morning—it was delicious. Would definitely stay here again!

This is my favorite place to stay in Monterey. Its affordable, quiet, and safe. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for a week on a recent trip from Florida to visit family. The motel was great. Clean and very comfortable. The staff was great and the grounds were beautiful. A gas burning fireplace in our room with hummingbirds and wonderfully scented red cedar trees out our balcony were the toppers. The room was also very peaceful and quiet even with nearby highway traffic, an airport and a music festival within walking distance. Great stay and a great price.
