We liked the architecture and history of the building. Breakfast room staff did not greet us and raised her voice to enquire if we had breakfast here before. Room- painting is peeling Tv- not working from3pm to 6pm even though technician looked into it. We were put in a better with Tv working. The sofa is not comfortable and fans not working. No garden

In Bournemouth to see a concert. Stayed at the Heritage because of proximity to the venue. Hotel was very nice and our stay was pleasant with no problems. Breakfast had a variety of items and was quite good.

Only there for two nights, but found it a professionally run, pleasant hotel. The breakfast was good, the staff unfailingly friendly and helpful, and the evening meal was good and relatively reasonable. Were in Bournemouth to see a concert at the BCI which is, literally, across the road.

Great location, nice clean room. Didn't like the shower curtain but could live with that for 1 night. Also could use somewhere to put my toiletries bag in the bathroom - surfaces were too small.

Everyone was helpful and very friendly. Great hotel.

When we checked in there was I believe an Italian man on reception. He was polite, informative & all round good customer service. The only down side was the older gentleman & believe the breakfast manager. He came across as though he didn’t want to be there, no good morning or anything (unlike the other staff members). He is customer facing & should be more upbeat, pleasant, visibly happy & approachable.

The website showed a good a la carte menu for the evening meal. So we booked a table in advance. We were actually presented with a very lack lustre set menu (at a good price, it has to be said) but not what we were expecting. I had to ask for a wine menu and this seemed an unexpected request! The check in staff were very helpful.

Perfect place for a central location to the beach town and bic, I never used any of the bars restaurants or anything els that’s on offer .. for me it is a very convenient place to stay when going to gigs at the bic. Parking is available onsite ( for a fee) so that’s a plus. Rooms are adequate very clean staff are very friendly and helpful.. will stay again when in town.

Really enjoyable stay. Excellent location. Only negatives are the small double bed and the noisy plumbing.

Hotel is in a great position very close to the beach and shops

No lift, so tough getting to the fourth floor with a ‘dicky knee’. The pool is in another hotel and is clearly ‘unloved’. It does the hotel no favours to ask guests to go there.

The lift wasn’t working, so they offered us a room on the first floor so not to many stairs to negotiate

Really nice hotel good location and parking , great facilities

Service and room were great. Fantastic location especially if attending the BIC which is just across the road. Could do with reviewing snack options for late night nibbles as fairly limited. Would stay again.

General air of wellbeing

Room was good warm and clean tea/coffee facilities and king size comfy bed.Parking on sit is £14 a day.

Like most of our seaside resorts and hotels this hotel is showing its age. for a four star hotel the food was ok but if you are going to offer a minimal menu then at least do it well. If you do not have ample parking for your guests you should at least consider offering parking elsewhere FOC or at a reduced rate and advising your guests clearly and specifically about the issues you have with parking so that they can time their arrival better. The staff where all pleasant and helpful and the hotel satisfied our requirements for the weekend we had planned. Thank you

My wife and I met here 43 years ago when she was the assistant housekeeper and I delivered the laundry. The room was nice but not as clean as they were back in the day or what would be expected for the current star rating ( cobwebs & sticky sweets** FLIES. ) and the gaps in the window frames made for a chilly sea breeze. Really dissappointed at the cost of over night parking, where should we park other than where we sleep. Afternoon tea was nice.

Clean room and helpful chatty staff
