Was given a ground floor room, where two ‘walls’ were all completely glazed, with sliding opening, overlooking a river directly outside, with a beautiful view all round. Good sized bathroom with large bath & separate spacious shower cubicle. The most pleasant hotel room I’ve experienced.

Good location for what we wanted to do

Nice place, remote to shops, rotterdam was nice, good breakfast, green ev charging - confusion over apparent extra fees was really embarrassing at the end which is not normally the case with hotels.com

vd Valk hotels altijd heel goed . Maar waar ik nu ben geweest Nieuwerkerk aan de IJssel verschrikkelijke kamer bed doorgezakt en er gauw een topper op gelegd om het te verdoezelen en slecht opgemaakt haast niet geslapen. Ook geen informatie map op de kamer dat bij vd Valk altijd aanwezig is met een presentie.verzin als je naar dat hotel vd Valk ga en dat voor 214 euro voor de kamer zonder iets.

Great place to stay with excellent spa too

Good hotel. The room was perfect, very clean, plenty of toiletry and the bed mattress excellent. The hotel was located outside the city center, plenty of parking and the food at the restaurant superb. Will get back any time.

The hotel is a lovely place to stay. The beds are very comfortable and a good size bathroom. I had a meal with relatives on the evening of my stay and found the service extremely slow although the food was good. I stayed in room 305 and I reported a very serious trip hazard to the reception staff on check out. There is a step from the bedroom into the bathroom which I tripped over on arrival. The carpet in the bedroom is dark and the tiles on the step are dark so you can't see it plus you don't expect the bathroom and bedroom areas to be on 2 different levels. I was lucky as I was wearing shoes and have good balance which saved me from serious injury. This needs to be addressed before there is a very serious accident. I have added a photo so you can see how dangerous this is.

Very pleasant stay. Renovated marble bathroom, large shower. Lovely property, garden, pond with waterfowl. Very nice breakfast.

Great wedding great staff lovely weather nice room but not the first one which was damp and dark.

Quite late arrival due to flight delays. Very welcoming. Got an upgrade

Nice place clean and quiet. Close to the Willem Alexander Baan for the University Rowing we attended. Would be nice to have a different breakfast option other than the buffet which is good but too much food just for breakfast.

Balkontür fest verschlossen, also keine Frischluft möglich. Unendlich viele zerquetschte Insekten auf dem Sonnenschutz, Kühlschrank nicht gefüllt, nicht einmal eine Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer. Trotz Deluxe-Doppelzimmers nur winziger Arbeitsplatz und auch nur winziger Bistrotisch im Raum. Immerhin 2 Sessel und großzügige Raumgröße. Schlechte Beleuchtung, auch im Bad - rasieren schwierig. Vollkommen unüberlegte Kabelführung des Bügeleisens, bügeln war damit quasi nicht möglich. Wenig Auswahl beim Frühstück und unmotiviertes Personal. Bunkercharme auf den Gängen. Auf die beim Checkout routinemäßig gestellte Frage nach der Qualität meines Aufenthaltes wurde die Antwort gar nicht erst abgewartet, sodass ich meine Kritik vor Ort gar nicht erst anbringen konnte. Positiv: kostenlose Parkplätze und viele Ladesäulen für E-Autos.

Fint og rent hotell med hyggelig betjening.. men som gull medlem er jeg veldig skuffet over å ikke få tidlig innsjekk eller sen utsjekk som er en av godene ved å være medlem på hotels
