It was good location to visit banff and ice field Has kitchen to easy to make few meals for family

It was a good location if you have a car. Shuttle service to town was nice but we had to wait extra time due to how crowded it was.

We had 2 stays at the resort couple of days apart. 1st stay was not great. 2nd stay better. In a better upgraded unit . The extra cost made that possible. Staff was relatively helpful. Place was clean. No wow about the place. But good for a base to explore Banff and surrounding areas.

The setting is beautiful. The shuttle into town was a plus. Very friendly staff.

I want to warn people. The room was filthy. We asked for it to be cleaned and it wasn't. We had to do it ourselves. The outside property was run down. The sidewalks are cracked all over the place. The window didn't have a lock on the first floor. The screen window in the bedroom was so dirty I couldn't see out of it. The sheets and quilt were stained. Our shower curtain was missing (only one outer panel that covered only 1/4 of the shower). We finally left and paid for a second hotel. The manager Michael was very nice I have to say. She gave us our money back for three nights. I spoke to another manager at our new hotel and he said, "We get a lot of people from there coming here for another place to stay". They need major over hall and AC! There are wildfires all summer long in Banff and AC is a must!

Bed Linen and towels missing for 2nd bed despite our booking for 4 adults. I had to call reception twice for it. Unit dirty and tired. Unit1501 felt like a basement unit. Staff were polite but unresourceful. We paid a high season rate for a mediocre prestation worth a motel grade accommodation. Cost us 2.5 times a good hotel in Calgary. We then, looped back to this hotel on our way back from Jasper. No cancellation possible at that point. Paid for an upgrade, turned out to be a better experience.

The resort was clean, full of amenities that can be used. There is a shuttle that goes to Banff Town every hour which was also convenient. But the rooms upkeep where sub standard. The door lock looked like it was about to fall. Shower curtains and towel racks have seen better days.

Staff was nice. Property was run down for the price. Garbage not emptied in our room. Stay away! Breakfast was long because there was one waitress while the manager just sat at the bar. Manager could have easily got up and helped the one waitress but chose to sit at the bar at her computer. As a doctor I often look at how businesses could be more efficient and having these manager just sit at the bar on her computer while the waitress was slammed was highly unprofessional. I will not be back!

The mattress was bot clean on the pull out. It had stains. We asked for extra pillows and were told “we will try to find”. It was an OK stay.

Our room was great and the location was amazing because there was a shuttle provided by the hotel. It offered convenient in and out service to downtown Banff. We were disappointed in the amenities that were promised by the hotel. The pool, whirlpool, and the hot tub were dated and dirty. For the amount of money we paid per night, with 2 young children, we were looking forward to using the amenities. There were tiles missing and neither the hot tub nor the whirlpool worked at all. The railing for the pool was loose and my daughter almost fell in. We did say something to the front desk and they offered us a complimentary breakfast for the next day; however, we had safety concerns and the pictures on Expedia did not match the actual property.

Staff are generally friendly and nice; that’s the only positive I can say unfortunately; at the nightly room rate charged (close to $600 per night), one would expect a certain level of cleanliness, up to date rooms and infrastructure, and daily housekeeping to list a few…however, none of this was evident during the stay. I understand that every hotel in Banff uses the season to milk its visitors but I would hope that there is a modicum of service and quality that ought to be provided. The photos on the listing (I used Expedia) are bright and make the place look amazing. It is not. If they charged $100-$150 per night, I’d understand. But not at their rates. The entire infrastructure is crumbling. The place requires much TLC to be brought back up to a standard that ought to be basic minimum for a hotel that charges $500 plus a night. Worn carpeting, woeful small rooms, old, dilapidated fixtures and no housekeeping over 3 nights is not an acceptable set of features. Hopefully, the resort will change and improve.

I loved the unit and having the kitchen was definitely helpful to cook morning breakfast. Location was great also, when we arrived we seen elk on the property which was so cool. The lobby bar could use some better options for drinks and happy hour. I would go back for sure.

Lights weren’t working, half of the outlets weren’t functional.

Pool area and hot tub was dirty, rooms were dated and run down. Property has amazing potential just seems really dated and run down

We appreciated having a kitchen, which was very helpful when travelling with young children. Our kids also really enjoyed the pool. One thing that could be improved was the cleanliness, as there was quite a bit of dust on the bedside lamps. We had also requested a crib in advance and were told it would be ready by check-in, but unfortunately it wasn’t. When we followed up, the staff brought one and left it outside our door, though we did have to set it up ourselves. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the convenience of the kitchen and the pool for the kids.

The setting is beautiful; the amenities (pickleball, tennis, squash, fitness room, bike path) are excellent!! Our room did not have an AC, though, and I had not anticipated that it would be very hot on a hot day even with the fan on and windows open. Otherwise, it was a great place!

The rooms were beautiful and a bonus that they were pet friendly. Will definitely go again!
