Such a lovely hotel. Staff friendly and accommodating, lady on the bar made amazing Limoncello Spritz and free bar nibbles every night!. The hotel was spotless, and our room was great, nice balcony and overlooked the pool. Plenty to choose from at breakfast, fresh homemade lemonade is a must try. Would pick again

The hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Sorrento and easy walking to the centre. Tony and all his team are so friendly and helpful and we had a great stay celebrating a big birthday and 40 years married 😁😁 and this was extremely well recognised by the team at hotel gardenia 😁😁 Everything you need for breakfast and great breakfast team. The cleanliness is immaculate and very discreet to not disturb We would definitely stop here again when we return to Sorrento👍👍

This is a lovely hotel with great staff. Our room was really nice on 3rd floor overlooking the pool area. Its easy walking distance down to the main town and the recommendations were excellent as were the breakfasts. Remember though this is a busy place so rooms on the road side will have road noise and ours at the rear did have the noise of the local dogs, but this shouldn't deter you from staying. Do try the Il Leone Rosso (Red Lion) restaurant it was excellent and great value and about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Sejour parfait ! Le personnel est charmant et tres accueillant (citronnade à l'arrivée, conseils de visite, mots gentils aux enfants...) !!! Une ambiance familiale tout en étant très professionnels. La chambre pour 4 personnes etait confortable et tres propre. Nous étions côté rue, mais porte fenetre bien isolée. Le petit dejeuner etait très bien. L'hotel est très bien situé, permettant de rejoindre à pied le centre ville, le port ... le tarif du parking est un peu cher mais plutot habituel sur cette cote en Italie. Tres satisfaits de notre sejour !

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!! We stayed at hotel gardenia for three nights in Sorrento during our travel to the Amalfi coast. We booked an airport transfer to take us from the Naples airport to the hotel and was told a price over a month beforehand. Our flight was delayed two hours and we emailed the hotel letting them know. We also provided the hotel with our flight info as asked earlier. apparently no one works at the front desk, answers emails overnight or tracks the flight like every other hotel does. We were told we had a 100 extra euro fee for a waiting time which was never spoke about before. when asking the hotel night manager at the front desk about it he was very nasty. DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT BOOK YOUR TRANSPORTATION HERE! They also require a key in place to keep the air conditioning on. They take the key away from you when you leave never allowing the room to get comfortable. The shower floods, the bathroom smells like sewage and the breakfast in the morning is awful. You also aren’t allowed to bring an iron in the room. If you need to iron clothes it must be done in a small room behind the bar in the lobby. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Very clean, wonderful breakfast and good location

We really appreciated the staff. They kept our luggage for us after we checked out. They were always courteous ,kind. Especially there was a young lady sorry forgot her name. If you have kids a pool is a definite plus especially in a heat wave. The only drawback was there was a bar near by and you could here the band playing despite the closed windows but I believe that happens in a lot of hotels in Europe. Breakfast was good!

The hotel was clean and everyone was friendly. The breakfast was great and let us eat early when we had a boat to catch, very nice!! We enjoyed our 2 nights in Sorrento very much

It was our first time staying at this lovely hotel we were so overwhelmed by how friendly the owners of the hotel are and staff they greet you like family. The hotel is in a great location to all Sorrento has to offer. We had a wonderful room upgrade for my birthday with fantastic views thank you again. All the reception staff were lovely a big thank you to Simona who really helped us out when our taxi to the airport got cancelled when we return next year we will book directly through the hotel for transfers to the airport. Tiziana who works behind makes the best cocktails and is such a ray of sunshine she always greets you with a big smile and is super friendly. All the staff at the hotel work really hard to make your time there special. Breakfast is fresh and lots on offer to set you up for the day of exploring Sorrento or just sitting by the the lovely pool area. Thank you again for making our time they’re very special and we look forward to seeing you all again there next year if not sooner.
