I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The rooms are spacious and always very clean. I find the beds are very comfy. Always have a good night's sleep. Each time I have stayed here it has been very quiet at night, no noise from other residents which is nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good facilities to use. Nice restaurant and good food. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Always a good experience in a Village Hotel

Came back to my room on the Wed evening, to find feces sitting in the toilet, and the room smelling. I flushed it down, reported to reception, who just said, Yes, we have a plumbing problem. No offer of changing rooms etc. Next morning, woke up to stinking room, and more feces in the toilet. Checked out a day early because of this, advised reception, who simply said, OK.

Room was shabby at best. Bed was clean but floor dirty and the bathroom was disgusting. Plug didn’t drain, taps in a state, shower barely worked, blind in room broken, room so hot had to have window open (no air con). Not sure what the standard rooms were like but this was a club room!

The hotel is near alot of businesses for food, shopping, and entertainment. Yet, it is dated and the lighting is dark to not show how wore down it is. Old is not an issue but dated and rundown us different. You have to pay extra for every selling point they offer. So for aĺl that unless you're set on swimming in a busy pool etc. then not worth it. The good thing is the location and the room was not freezing like most hotels. The staff were responsive.

Had to change from an unsuitable hotel at 23:50; staff answered & told us we’d be welcomed. Saved our sleep issue. Thank you so much! Dates bathroom but comfortable bed & good sized room. Good value!

The breakfast isnt worth the mobey

Breakfast is a rip off. We were not advised at check-in that it was £5 cheaper if we paid at check-in. Cost £17.50 each. All we wanted was cereal and a pastry. No reduced cost for continental only. Heating not working on arrival. When queried told came on at 6pm. It didn't. Complained again and then told maintenance working on it. We were offered a portable radiator which worked short term. Eating in bar expensive and poor value. Parking is not easy close to entrance. Very busy. Will not be staying again.

It is a great hotel

Check in staff excellent & lobby with Starbucks & pub very useful indeed. Room comfortable & clean with a nice view. UF there was a negative, it would be the window frames which had not been cleaned ever & were dusty to the point of mould. However, this did not detract from an overall great stay.

Room ok, some dirty marks in the bathroom. A little cool in the room and couldn’t see how to change the temperature. On the plus side, room was very spacious and great coffee machine.

Friendly staff. Good service in bar and restaurant. Only down side was that I had booked a twin room - but there was hardly any room between beds , so not really suitable for friends sharing
