A wonderful view from a nice room made our trip memorable. Easy access and parking. We were caught out arriving late on a Sunday trying to find toiletries as none were provided at all. The location and ease of access made up for this though.

Filthy room smelt of tobacco. No hot water

Room view over the harbour was lovely, room was clean but in bad need of a lick of paint. Fridge precariously balanced on a shelf, fell off when we opened it. Breakfast was terrible and i would advise anyone staying to dine out rather than in.

Arrive at 8.55 checked room and then went to eat. Restaurant closed and only sandwiches to eat. Not good enough after a long drive. No where else open. For food.

Room was spacious, the only plug sockets were for the kettle and tv, and no others. Bedside lights were rather high and difficult to switch on and off whilst in bed.

The room quality was good and the overall atmosphere and activity: no specific big event but a wednesday evening musician (guitarist and singer of 60/70s music} in the ballroom; one of my motivations to go to GB. Also its location so near the the lovely Harbour, the Old High St and the cliff walk toward Dover. Breakfast buffet good too.

Moved one of the single beds over and there was dog biscuits and a bone under there We had one had towel

Amazing sea view, lovely large clean and comfy bedroom

In all my years staying in a hotel this is the first one that has no hand gel, soap & no shower gel to shower with or wash your hands.

Very good value for money. Rooms clean and comfortable. Close to all the amenities. Breakfast was lovely. Entertainment was enjoyable.

Stayed for one night to attend an event in the Folkestone Creative Arts centre. Would definitely stay here again. We had a lovely twin room with a balcony overlooking the harbour and couldn't have asked for anything better. Many thanks.

All I wanted was a comfortable bed and a shower. Me and 2 old uni friends where on a long weekend cycling along the south coast and we stopped here for an overnight to get some rest before heading on. My bed was worn out and not only could you feel every one of the old springs, they 'clanged' when you moved. The shower was either cold or had so low water pressure that the divert valve for the bath wouldn't send water to the shower head. When we arrived, one of the lifts didn't work. By the morning, all of them had failed and none of the buttons worked on our floor. Someone from reception had to manually override the lifts to get us. Oh, and one of the panels had fallen through. On top of that, it seems like a lot of people use it as a base for parties so I was woken up many times with revellers in the corridor. Yes it cheap. No I would never stay there again. At best it's worn out and at worse it's a death trap.

Everything I needed in the room, friendly staff and a pleasant break. Great breakfast and a view to die for. We will be back

I've been working in the area, and this hotel has been great. quiet, well appointed room with good facilities with a good bar and relaxed restaurant. There was even a pool if I had brought my trunks!

Had a lovely stay over Easter weekend. The entertainment was good and staff very friendly. Rooms were clean. Unfortunately, one lift was out of action so it took a while to and from our room.

Great location, great staff. Great value

Its a lovely place to get a brake at far prises. Stuff friendly.

As I am down at Burstin regularly I am very familiar with this hotel and know what to expect and if any different I am more than happy to make any requests to Reception who are very helpful and deal with any problems rapidly and effectively
