Too crowded

Towels had blood stains. One of two pools was closed due to contamination. A small fire in one of the rooms led to evacuation. Outlets were non functioning. Bathtub had to be fixed, it became separated from original tub (was an adapted bathtub.)

The location of the hotel is amazing. They were an hour late letting us check-in due to volume of turnover at that time as well as an unknown issue with the room that needed to be fixed. We had to put on our own shower curtain, but the staff was super friendly. Hotel was generally clean and provided a great ocean front experience.

Great resort

My family and I enjoyed our stay. We had an ocean view room. The hotel was right on the beach. Beautiful scenery! I definitely want to visit again. My only complaint is the room service. They would not clean our room and we had to ask more than 3 times our second day for towels. When we returned to our room the towels were in a clear trash bag outside our door on the floor. Besides that I really enjoyed it

This property is perfect! I loved the location and the staff was exceptional

Rooms are spacious but need an update. Smelled like someone had smoked in the rooms. Great location!

The staf was excellent

Check in: The hotel could not find our reservation and it took 45 minutes to check in. They had to rebuild our reservation once they finally found it. Very frustrating after driving 12 hours. Room: the room was ok. It definitely needs updated and cleaned better. There was a bunch of hair on the floor when we walked into the bedroom. The kitchen table was sticky, even after we cleaned it. The side of the bathroom counter desperately needs replaced, the bottom of the stove and dishwasher were damaged. They also shut off the hot water one day from 10 am and it was not restored until 6pm, even though they told us it was restored at 2pm. Pools: The 2 outdoor pools and indoor pool are nice, however, some updates are definitely needed. A drain cover (or some type of cover) was not fully attached, leaving an open hole on the bottom of the pool. We told the person working at the pool and they just said they already know about it. There was also a dirty diaper siting next to the indoor pool for two days and the pool bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Overall the stay was still enjoyable, but the hotel definitely needs some updates.

Lots of problems with the internet they couldn't get us a room key until the second day, didn't really do much to compensate us I'm sure the staff was frustrated and they were very friendly it wasn't their fault it was the problem with the internet provider...

This property is clearly the best on VA beach! Family friendly. It stands out among all other surrounding properties. It is beautiful and the staff is absolutely amazing. Me and my husband got to enjoy time together in the 21 and older spa area while we could see our kids playing safely in the gated pool area! Onsite activities included for our kids were absolutely awesome thoughtful and pleasantly unexpected. We were kind of nervous about finding experiences for our kids to do here... not an issue neither of them wanted to leave the property because there was so much they could enjoy here... even a poolside movie event!

Great experience

I was extremely happy with my entire stay at the Hilton Ocean Club! The location was perfect. The pool area, lobby friendliness of staff couldn’t have been better. I was surprised and somewhat disappointed that they only came to my room once to clean it and provide clean towels. Other than that , I will be returning to a Hilton agsin!

Took an hour to check in. They spent that hour telling me that i could not have the room reserved and i just drove 9 hours for. Instead they continuously offered me inferior rooms, because they said that they could not find my original reservation because i booked it through Expedia. They magically found my room when i got Expedia on the phone....after an hour wait with my family waiting in the car. Then they informed me that they could not apply my Diamond status to my visit either, because i booked through Expedia lol. But the manager offered me 2 waters instead. Not joking. Other than that the room i reserved was nice. A little dated would be my only note, but definitely cool. The constant miltary jet fly overs were neat at 1st, but happen every 3 to 10 minutes, and they are SUPER LOUD. If you like military jet fly overs, i highly recommend this area of the beach. If you're looking to unwind and relax on the beach, i do not recommend this area of the beach....unless you have serious hearing problems or you don't mind 80 to 90 decibel 45 second long blasts at regular intervals during your relaxing vacay 😉

Great location. High priced but has great amenities

It’s a very old hotel property. Water not draining from the bathtubs. No mirrors in the hotel room.

The staff was friendly but we had a few issues: no shower curtain despite my call to guest services, dirty carpet, and the "oceanview" was definitely not worth the extra $60.

- The carpet has burn signs and it is old, ready for a change. - The hot-cold water indicator of the tub's tap is not fixed and slips under the arm, iso it can be dangerous. - The little table is too little even for two people to eat a breakfast. It is a relic of the last millennia. Otherwise the location is great and the personnel are excellent.
