I was very disappointed with my stay, especially as this hotel is advertised as a 4-star property. The swimming pool was not in use during our visit, which was one of the facilities we were looking forward to using. The double rooms were also much smaller than expected. We had to change rooms three times because of problems with the air conditioning. Despite these room changes, the air conditioning still did not work, and we had to sleep in an uncomfortably hot room. The reception staff were helpful and cooperative and provided us with a fan, which was appreciated. However, given the weather conditions, the fan was simply not enough to keep the room comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing, with limited choice and nothing that reflected a 4-star standard. Another inconvenience was the lack of a telephone in the room. Whenever we had a problem or needed assistance, we had to walk to reception rather than being able to call from the room. While the reception staff did their best to help, the overall facilities and comfort did not meet the standards I would expect from a 4-star hotel.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and chatty, really helpful too. The room was clean and the hotel stay included free access to the gym/fitness centre which was a lot better than could be reasonably expected, as well as a jacuzzi and a steam room. The pool was out of order and I didn't try the breakfast as I had an early morning for an event but would definitely stay again if I'm in the area

I had a great stay at this hotel, for business or leisure it’s a great choice. Also, Marita on reception, helped me enormously when I lost my wedding ring! She went above and beyond the call of duty to help me get it returned, answering my (several worried) calls and generally being fantastically helpful and kind over several days. I can’t thank her enough!!! Highly recommend Marita and the hotel, well done all!! SN

Clean room

Une 1ere chambre avec le robinet de douche bloqué sur la position la plus chaude avec une température supérieure à 60 degrés ! Une 2eme attribuée ensuite mais avec la télévision en panne... Puis une 3eme correcte. Globalement tout est usé et nécessite d'être remplacé. La piscine est sale et les vestiaires insalubres ! Bref, il faut chercher ailleurs ! Le personnel est agréable mais complètement dépassé.

Check-in was great, the gentleman on the desk was helpful and friendly. In all honesty the whole hotel is a bit tired looking, carpets worse for wear, damp smell outside the lifts. Our room was nice enough although the bed was a bit soft for me. Jacuzzi wasn't working which was a bit disappointing. Shortage of staff both in the bar and at breakfast. Generally it was ok though, just needs a bit of work.

市街地から離れており、住宅街の中にあります。とても静かでよいのですが、公共交通機関を使う人にはすこし不便です。近くにバスやトラムはありますが、歩くには危険なので遠くのバス停を使ってました。 ホテルは古いもののきちんとメンテナンスされており、清潔で機能的です。スタッフもみんな優しく良いホテルだと思います。

Reception area and bar were very clean. Room was spotless. Receptionists were so so helpful. Only thing is that there was no notification either on the printed sheet, or by the leisure centre receptionists, that there was a water babies class taking place taking up half the pool. If that had been mentioned, we wouldn't have gone to the pool.

The breakfast was good. The staff were very polite and helpful and friendly.

Always seem to get a room furthest from reception, however clean, comfortable and quiet. Good facilities although can get busy in the pool and gym at certain times, ease of location M5/M6 junction makes for a good overnight business stay. Plenty of car parking (chargeable) and a good 10-15 minute walk into West Bromwich town centre.

The hotel is good looked a bit dated but the inside was really nice. The room itself I had booked a standard double but was allocated a compact double. There were a few stains on the carpet looked like wine and a rack in the sink. These did not affect my stay the bed was comfortable and the room clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good, great selection of food. The only thing I would say let it down was yhe additional £10 for parking

On Saturday night there was a continuous humming in the room and no hot water. On the Sunday morning there was no water at all in the bathroom. I did complain and received a refund, but I won't be staying there again.

The room was decent. Comfy bed. Things were a bit tired in the room like the sink was cracked and chipped. We had room service. It took a decent length of time to get our food. But unfortunately the food wasn’t very hot. Had to eat quite quickly as it was only barely warm. Good price for the room though.

During breakfast coffee machine was not working, no phone in the room, no storage/cupboard in the room, cleanliness was average, asked for boiled egg but was told it will take 15 minutes.
