The experience has been better than expected. Excellent, friendly and professional restaurant staff. The chef delivered every day creative and very tasty food. No complaints whatsoever for the six days spent in this resort. Relaxing time if you need or vigorous workout with different trails proposed and departing from the lodge.

Such a beautiful setting to recharge and relax. Thoughtful inclusions mean you can sit back and decide whether you need to leave the hammock/bath/riverbank for afternoon cocktails. (But do, they are worth it!)

We had a wonderful stay. Great lodge, super clean, very well appointed, lovely bar and restaurant with delicious food. The setting is amazing, you are in the rainforest with a stretch of river to swim in, the pool is also unique! The spa treatments we had were extremely good and reasonably priced. The stay was made extra special by the wonderful staff, everyone was warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay magical. We hope to return one day!!!

This is a magical place nestled near the entrance to the Daintree Forest. My family hiked the nicely maintained and well-documented trails next to the Mossman river, swam in it, also enjoyed the pool that the hotel maintains. The wine and cocktail tastings every evenings are a great way to wind down the day, the meals were simply sumptuous - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had so much good food! The guest houses the property maintains are also lovely, with sleek modern bathrooms, ample space, and short walks back to reception or the mossmann river. This is a beatiful spot to rest and relax in - staff were consistently fantastic, lovely, and friendly. They take very good care of the place and it shows. Lastly, while the property maintains a free guest laundry, I suggest you use the service instead. The guest use clothes dryers on the property are not really performant.

Besonderes Hideaway mitten im Regenwald. Tolle Ausstattung und sehr nettes Personal. Restaurant in der Anlage und tolle Bar mit täglich wechselnden Gincocktail. Cooler Pool mitten im Dschungel ….. wir waren zwei Nächte, was genau richtig war. Eine wirklich besondere Unterkunft, die zwar nicht ganz günstig ist, aber durch die Lage generell und die Art der Zimmer/Bungalows für unsere Reise ein Highlight darstellte.

Where to start!! Stay at the Silky Oaks Lodge was truly a dream come true. The staff is amazing and made us feel so welcomed and special from the moment we arrived. Our room was perfect - very clean and the mini bar was stocked with everything you could need. Our view was in the middle of the rainforest with river views and total privacy. We enjoyed time on the patio together and the bathtub was heavenly. Every meal was delicious. Such a dream!!!

A breathtaking spot in the nature; friendly staff. SOL runs a try-to-be exclusive vibe but not quite there given the cost, they need to scout some managerial individuals from Aman, Six Senses or One&Only.

We loved it here! Gorgeous property and location. So much to do or do nothing and relax. Service is fantastic. Food and selection is excellent. Wallaby out our back door. Had one of the best massages ever and so did my husband. Zero complaints! Absolutely lovely.

The hotel service was very good. It was a great experience and I had a lot of fun.

Stunning luxury in beautiful rainforest. Superb food. Brilliant service. Stylish accommodation

We recently spent 3 nights at Silky Oaks Lodge in early February 2024. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! The resort itself was gorgeous! We loved our bungalow and the view of the Mossman River. The staff was over the top friendly and accommodating. We arranged some day trips through the front desk, ABC Snorkeling to the Great Barrier Reef and Walk About Cultural Tours to explore the beach and the Mossman River Gorge. Both experiences were life altering. I wish we had made time to go to the spa - we received a personal tour before we left. We'll definitely do that next time. We made wonderful friends with the staff and cannot wait to return. Thank you for taking such great care of us!

Our family (parents 3 20s children) had the most amazing stay in 2 treehouse rooms. It was like an enchanted forest with great food (included) and drink. Very relaxing and just the thing for the last 4 days of a long and busy trip. We just enjoyed our surroundings and didn’t even feel the need to venture outside the resort. Our adult children loved it too. Highly recommend.
