Terrible Hotel should be a ( 1 ) Star Hotel is Grumpy Smelling of Damp Dirty Carpets Old Décor No House Keeping What So Ever I Stayed Here 5 Nights with nobody came to my Room with Anything I Mean Anything I Had to buy my own Toilet roll Tea Milk No Fresh Sheets I went to Reception but nobody there 3 Times so called them Told them my issues and they left to Towels in my Room when I was at Work Never Emptied the Trash Bins Nothing Do yourself a Favour go somewhere else And Avoid This Hotel The Gainsborough House Hotel Kidderminster Terrible place

Staff were lovely & very helpful but the hotel itself is in very poor condition & quite dirty. The beds are awful & can feel every spring and the bed frame through gaps, shower curtain mouldy & no shower gel or toilet paper in the room, mugs dirty & the carpets were not clean. Again can't fault the staff, kind and welcoming.

As soon as you walk in to the hotel there was a musty smell. Appreciate it’s a 3 star, but I have to say I wouldn’t give it that. It’s tired and dated and rooms although adequate they are not the cleanest. No restaurant on site for evening meals, and breakfast was a let down. Poor quality products. Sadly will not be returning to hotel. Chosen for location but wished I drive a further couple of miles to a Premier Inn. Cheaper and cleaner.

Bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom was clean - bath had shower over it - could do with grab rail to help get in and out of bath. Room looks like it could do with a repaint and skirting board and window need a good clean! Window looked out over very wild piece of garden. No lift but there was a stair lift. Communal areas also look in need of TLC. No food in restaurant in evening but Deliveroo deliver to hotel. Breakfast ok- self service.

Looking for a low cost Kidderminster hotel, and this was what I selected. The hotel wasn’t exactly what I was expecting - the name suggests a degree of elegance, but what I found was a downmarket version of a premier inn without the consistency. Relatively convenient for nearby attractions about halfway to Bewdley on the Bewdley road. A decent walk to the center of Kidderminster for most dining options.

Accommodation was brilliant for the cost. However the TV wasn't working, and despite assurances of being moved to another room the following day, we never were. Bathroom was well equipped, however on the morning we departed, the shower wasnt running any warm water. There was no one at reception for us to advise of this issue at check out. Over all, lovely place, welcoming staff... a couple of wee niggles, things that can happen anywhere... definitely so.ewhere id be willing to book again.

Basic and clean so good for a cheap place to get your head down. Looks far more impressive from the outside.

Parking No Problem. Bar n Lounge Nice, But Only Cider on Draught, n Beers Non Alcholic in Bottles, No Rosie Wine either.

Breakfast was poor. No hot water and no lift hard when you are on top floor with a heavy case

Lots of parking, large clean room. Perfect location for us. Would recommend to anyone visiting West Midlands safari park.

Hotel was reasonably priced for a reason. Room was spacious and comfortable but a little tired. Nice quiet location though, so had a good night sleep. Breakfast was a disappointment, best leave it at that. I would consider staying again, easy parking, good location and certainly good value for money compared to other options on this occasion.

Highly disappointing. A very, very run down hotel. Room had a disinfectant smell, bedding minimal, carpet needs a good cleaning, and basic shower unit - a curtain around a plastic base - with a blocked drain that risked flooding. This is certainly nowhere close to the ‘Very Good’ 8/10 rating as presented by Expedia.

Room was average outdated tv compared to the other double room. Had to ask for tea bags ect the next day as they didn't do turn down of the rooms. Internet went down for the stay so wifi wasnt working

Too noicy people banging shouting all night, and the morning. No water in room.room was big ideal Comfy bed.self parking . Ideal hotel just outside town.
