Clean comfy bed ,clean modernised bathroom.Draughty as windows in dire need of refurb. Windows really dirty, but fabulous views if you can see beyond this.Fire doors wedged open at times ! Breakfast, pretty dire, coffee undrinkable. Very old hotel in fantastic position looking over beautiful Oban bay,however cheaply refurbished, could be fantastic with a little more attention to detail.

Food poisoning for all in my company. Food overall really poor quality, No service in dining room to acknowledge it. The least you can expect from a restaurant by the sea is a good filé of fish when order fish and chips. Not some cheap thing with a LOT of bones in it. Check in and check out went well with friendly staff.

A lovely stay in Oban, staff were pleasant and helpful, the bed was very comfortable , it is acknowledged the hotel is going through a refurbishment and will be excellent once this is complete. Location is great with easy walk to the town centre.

The hotel was on a great location for dining options! Don’t expect to get parking at the front of the hotel they literally have 4 spaces! Noticably tight with toilet paper only leaving the roll on the dispenser and no spare! Also water in the room on arrival but not refreshed we were there for 3 nights!

It was great that the hotel was at the seafront. Staff on duty were friendly and helpul within their abilities to make decisions. However appearances can be deceptive, as it is described as a“newly refurbished” hotel! On arrival to our room it looked impressive, but there were many disappointing issues, eg plastic toilet seat which was not secure and the lid fell on to your back when seated!! The shower was a Rainshower style which was a dribble, with no hand held attachment in place. TV not working and had to be removed and exchanged, but had been checked before our arrival; poor Wifi. The drawer containing hairdryer jammed against bottom of bed when used. And manager not on site to speak with and not expected to return until following day, although reception can send a message to them and await a reply. Also on Overview page at time of booking, it states “the hotel provides visitors with a free full breakfast” which is not the case.

Poor stay. Terrible check in experience which resulted in being charged twice. State of exterior and rear poor. Breakfasts acceptable but little choice

Great location. A bit tired and questionable decor (orange, gold and purple?) but comfortable enough. Bar shut at 9pm on Saturday night (!) and breakfast average. I wouldn’t avoid it though. Right on the water and everything is nearby.

Average at best. Bar closed by 9pm No clean towels left next day, had to ask.

Great location! King bed was enormous and in a pretty tiny room so pretty tight on space. Staff was very friendly.

Tiny bathroom and shower. Poor bedside light. Stange and inappropriate interior decor lacks charachter or atmosphere. Poor access from street for mobility impaired people. Good food at dimmer.

Hyfsat hotell med okej standard på rummet. Dock kunde man inte öppna fönster eller reglera temperaturen. Låg bra till men såg ganska slitet ut. En i sällskapet åt frukost som denne tyckte var bra, men restaurangen på kvällen va inte något att rekommendera. Anser att priset var lite högt, men utbudet i Oban var inte ofantligt.

Property excellent, not enough staff at check in time. Could have had some instructions how to operate lighting system. Flooring in room was a bit slippy. Otherwise room was brilliant.

Perfect location walking distance from train bus and ferry terminals. Staff was very responsive and helpful. Wish we could have opened the windows but we were fine since it was cool at night. We will return!

Hôtel correct très bien situé. Pas d’air climatisé dans la chambre et pas facile d’accès avec une valise. Il y a des escaliers à monter avec notre gosse valise ce n’était pas évident. Lits confortables et emplacement calme on s’est bien reposé.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and they had a good service. The breakfast was very good in 2 of the times I ate there. But there were other times, may a different chef, it wasn't so good... the room was cleaned every day, but they didnt replaced the water ( it was given only a small bottle for our entire stay). The shower was excellent. I highly recccomend, no matter fact I would use the Muthu hotels at any countries they operate. Thanks

It was not as advertised on line. There was very limited parking $15 for breakfast is ridiculous for this level of hotel. The exterior looks dreadful. It needs a good power washing and paint. The decorations in the rooms and lobby and tacky. You need a decorator.

Parking could be a problem. Rooms are a little small. Also, carrying luggage up steps into lobby since it’s located on hill. Staff were friendly and helpful.
