It doesn’t have parking, only valet. So it takes like 3-5 minutes for them to bring your car when you want to go somewhere. It’s like 10-15 minutes drive to main restaurants and hotels. Mattress was uncomfortable, kinda of hard. The design and decoration of the hotel is very unique, 2 nights to experience it is enough. Room was cleaned, food was good, and the Mirador was spectacular!!

Very different experience compare to big city. You can feel the air the breath, wake up with bird’s voice. Like in the jungle! The room is big and bed is comfortable.

My stay at Azulik was wonderful. The hotel is one of a kind and an awesome experience. Paola, our receptionist greeted us every morning and was very friendly. We also received nice assistance from our concierge Olivia. The staff was great and I especially appreciate housekeeping for making the stay clean and attentive. Valet guys were always kind with great attitudes. I now have a family member that booked their stay at Azulik for August, and may refer others. Best, John

I saw the place on facebook one time and want to go there. Is a hotel on the tree so no stilettos 👠 or high sandals. The room was better than I what expected however the hotel is costly so is better to eat local. The room does not have coffee machine so don’t dream to hold a cup a coffee watching the sunsets so bring your. The Nido roof top to be able to seat on the tables you have to pay extra $60 USA even though you’re a guess so seat at the floor…so princely. I will stay only 2 days just for the experience. The private balcony is not cover on the lateral sites so no privacy for the couples. My boyfriend has to hang a towel to cover me every time I shower so the neighbors can’t see me naked. I gave the 5 start because is a nice concept, good security and customer service. The food is also good,

Underwhelming, there was a lot of hype around this property. It fell short. Three stars are fair. I am accustomed to the hotel front desk greeting me and asking to help me or offer assistance. They wouldn't even look up from their phones. Restaurants were mid. Wouldn't book here again.

As I pen this down, I'm currently staying at Azulik, reflecting on an experience that left much to be desired. My friend and I decided to venture upstairs for the highly recommended sunset experience, expecting a delightful evening. However, what transpired was quite the opposite. Upon arriving, I expressed a clear interest in the seating area that was blocked off, as there were simply no other available spots. The staff informed me that accessing that area would cost extra, to which I responded that price wasn't an issue. Assuming they understood, I walked away expecting them to guide us to the seats. It was only when I stopped for directions that I realized the staff member hadn’t moved. Despite standing still, she seemed unaware of my request, although her colleague beside her translated our conversation. Curiously, he didn't step in to assist further. Eventually, my friend consulted a waiter who informed us that we needed to pay upfront, a crucial detail that wasn’t mentioned at the desk. For the prices they charge, I anticipated a level of service that showed urgency and attentiveness to their guests' needs—especially for those staying at the resort. Reflecting on this experience, I can’t help but think about the potential business impacts. Dear Azulik Team, Azulik is undeniably a stunning and unique property, and we truly appreciated the opportunity to stay and experience the design and natural ambiance you’re known for. That said, I wanted to share a few observations that impacted our overall experience: While most of the staff were warm and friendly, the front desk team member who checked us in didn’t greet us with a smile and had this weird energy, which felt a bit out of place for such a welcoming and guest-focused property. We had read in several reviews that the candles would be lit by the staff before returning in the evening, but in our case, we were given low-quality matches and had to do it ourselves—which was a struggle. I had also requested that the outdoor hot tub be cleaned, but unfortunately never received a response and it was not taken care of. Lastly, while we loved the concept, we found it difficult to sleep due to the waves crashing on the rocks below, which may be something to note for light sleepers. In all, we enjoyed the uniqueness of the experience, but would recommend it more for a one-night stay to take in the space rather than a longer, comfort-focused retreat.

Initially we got room with broken lock and AC after fighting a little they changed our room; new room had weird sweat smell in bedsheets, we were very uncomfortable; the rooms are very rustic anyone coming here should be ready to adjust a lot since no basic things basic amenities like coffee machine microwave etc. the only good part is other amenities the lounges restaurants beach club was good part

Un lugar único. Muy relajante. Muy tranquilo las vistas increíbles. Ojo. LO RECOMIENDO SOLO PARA 1-2 días para vivir la experiencia. Ya más días a mi gusto No. Porque. No tienes luz es con velas. No TV.

Instagram worthy. Conveniences are lacking. Walkways are difficult to navigate. Apparently there is no OSHA in Mexico. Showers are non existent. Housekeeping is meh.

Never have I felt less welcome in any hotel than at the Azulik. Zero hospitality, almost all staff looked like they were smelling their own farts, with bad looks and no smiles or warmth. It took 15 minutes to be acknowledged at their restaurant, and when we said something, no one cared. My drink finally came and with molding fruit in it. When I said something, no apologies were given and they tried to make me pay for the drink with mold that I barely touched. The room was not insulated, which meant all the air conditioning just went right out which is so wasteful and a bat came into our room all three nights. The hotel does not have a pool, it is far from everything, and the staff simply do not care about their guests. In contrast, before spending three nights at Azulik, we spent three nights at the Nomade hotel and had an exceptional experience where I was greeted with smiles and care!

We booked the Sky Villa and it was magical! Azulik staff were proactive and taking care of us before we even left the US. The restaurants are expensive, but the stay was a dream. I definitely recommend if you're someone who truly enjoys peace. We had the jungle in our front yard and the ocean in the back. We had such a beautiful room but slept on the day bead every night. Had ocean views from the shower - watching the sun rise. 😍😍 We loved everything about it!

This hotel is Over price!! No pool!! The staff is amazing!!

The guest service was really terrible. We had to wait for an hour a half for a room to be ready and we came 1 hour after check-in. It was 90 degrees and we had to sit and they did not even offer water. The room only had one light and the matches didn’t work. We could not see all week. Our bathroom faucet was glued together and looked so cheap and tacky. Our room did not look like the photos. Our deck had nails and staples sticking out everywhere. We could not be barefoot. They did not come and clean our room or do turn down service.
